Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.

St. George's Chapel

Visit St George's Chapel, where Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in a ceremony broadcast to millions around the world. Construction on this beautiful chapel began in 1475 under the reign of Edward IV, and today it is the resting place of 10 former monarchs including the infamous Henry VIII.     We had a bus driver that drove us there and a tour guide(rode with us on the bus)that did not say much. More history info would have been great on the hour long drive there and back. Windsor and St. George’s chapel were beautiful but again additional info from tour guide would have made so much of a better experience.

    Trip was basically included a bus ride to/from and entry fee into Windsor Castle. There was no commentary or "guided tour" by our guide. He dropped off us at the Visitors entrance and met us at the bus park at the end. I wish the tour was 60 minutes longer to explore the quaint town of Windsor; as it was we barely had time to tour the castle and all exhibits before time was fast approaching to return to busses.

    This was basically a transport drop off to Windsor Castle and ticket to see inside the castle. I would have liked a little bit of history or fun facts about Windsor on the 1 hour drive down and back. If this is what you’re after, this is probably not the tour for you. The rep and driver were pleasant enough but the tour could be improved by possibly adding additional commentary

    The visit to Windsor was excellent, but the “guide” never introduced himself, never mentioned anything during the ride to Windsor, and left us at the site with minimal information on how to return to the bus. It was quiet stressful.

    Excellent tour of Windsor Castle, tickets included, but the time to see the castle was only two hours, by the time the bus arrived in the parking lot until we had to leave. Wish we had more time there!

    They just drive you there and drop you off, no commentary no nothing. They failed to mention that the chapel closes at 4PM! So if you go in the afternoon heads up the Chapel closes at 4PM for the 5PM mass. It would of been better to take the train and spend more time. It was the only tour I took with this company. When booking make sure the tour company they are using is good.
