There are few things that can transport you to another place and time quite like a sip of a delicious rum. Whether you're sipping it neat or mixing it into a cocktail, rum has the power to evoke the tropical flavors and laid-back vibes of the Caribbean, where it has been produced for centuries.
That's why tourists must visit our rum distillery and master class. Not only will they get to taste some of the finest rum available, but they'll also learn about the history and production process of this iconic spirit. learn about the distillation process, and witness the aging of the rum.
But it's not just about the technicalities of rum production - our master class is an immersive experience that will allow visitors to truly appreciate the art of rum making. They'll meet our master distiller and hear about his passion for creating unique and flavorful rums. They'll also have the chance to try their hand at making their own flavours, and learn how create the perfect drink.

Traveler's will arrive to the distillery to participate in a 1 hr long class to make their very own rum. starting off with a rum tasting of our 6 locally made rums. participants will then proceed to create their very own mixture of flavours and mix in all necessary ingredients to bring home a full size, 750ml bottle with a personalised label. the shared class is for 2 people to use one still create one flavour and take home one bottle between them.

5.00Fantastic experience. Went with my partner on the 19th March. Lana our Rum host/instructor was funny and informative and explained the process very well. ( I don’t want to give too much away as it might spoil the experience for others) The mixture of shots to sample was an experience, and we both enjoyed varies different ones. The making of the rum and trying different rums was a great enjoyment, were now back in the Uk and looking forward to sampling our bottles this weekend. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Who would have thought that making your own Rum could be so much fun? Well, let's say starting with 6 shots of different kinds of Rum ...Yum!!! Our 2 instructors were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Both my husband and myself have created delicious flavours that were sealed with wax to take home with us. That's if we don't drink it all before our flight. Thank you for a super afternoon of fun!

5.00Very fun and informative activity. We tasted and made our own custom bottle of rum to take home. I highly recommend. They are also directly across the beach from a beautiful beach, so make a day of it. If you go on Thursday, end the afternoon at the party at Shirley Heights, which is just up the road. :)

5.00We booked this excursion via our hotel and it was one of our favourite trips during our stay. I can’t remember the name of the girl who ran the class but she was a young English girl and was very confident and knowledgeable on the rum making process and the different types of rum. It was great to be able to try the different flavours of rum and then decide what flavours you wanted to use for your own rum. It was also a nice touch to get our own personalised label for the bottle. Would definitely recommend this to any rum lovers.

5.00A really fun 90 mins in the capable hands of Nelly and crew..... we've done a number of rum tasting tours throughout the Caribbean, but being able to create your own bottle of rum as well as the rum tasting made it unique and memorable ..... definitely recommend 👍🏼

5.00We had a great time, we learnt about how rum is made and also had to taste the rum they produced. Had a chance to be able to make and take home your own rum. The guys were very informative and helpful in every way. Totally different experience, so much fun.

5.00Had an absolute blast with Nell at the Academy. Nell explained the process and it was really interesting! The tasting was fun and left a few of the people a little wobbly! Lol! Mixing the ingredients was, well, tasty and we were very happy with our concoction which we named Yum Yum Rum Rum! Price was reasonable and Nell was a great teacher and funny critic! Thank you.

5.00Masterclass is right. Your introduction to rum making is firmly practical and you will be drinking plenty in your education from novice to distiller. The staff are awesome and funny, the rum flows very freely and you leave with a bespoke momento. A momento which you will need as you float out of there way more than three sheets to the wind. Amazing, highly recommended for any visitor to Antigua.

5.00Absolutely loved this experience! It was so much fun and Jo really was a great host. We made two bottles which was perfect. One to consume on the trip and one bottle of rum to take home!
