Overall, this was a fantastic day - and I would do it again. In many ways I can’t fault it. The only issue I want to point out - and I don’t know if this stems from the tour operator or information provided by the Viator platform - is that Theologos was not a stop we made (including Neromilos) as advertised. Instead the last stop was to Maries and a taverna there. Which was fine, but the information just needs to be accurate. Likewise, the lunch provided is absolutely not a barbecue one, but rather a ham & tomato sandwich. Again, fine - but the information provided needs to be accurate to manage expectations. Top tip: due to the nature of the bumpy roads, obviously if you suffer from travel sickness then bring what you need to for that! Otherwise, as I say, a fantastic day. The driver was very friendly/informative. The views from the mountain are absolutely incredible! And the monastery stop and the lake/waterfall were also very good. The tour is a really great way to see some of Thassos’s beautiful interior and a must-do for visitors to this island.

Guide / Driver Nikolai was very attentive. The trip took us off road to the summit with outstanding views. Take sensible shoes as there is a degree of walking. Take water and an empty bottle so you can try the natural spring water. The waterfalls past the old mills was an interesting stop in the old capital as was the monetary. Lots of history. A snack lunch in the mountain shelter was a great touch.

Mountain Ipsarion and the place we stopped for sandwich was nice. Costas in Kastro was funny. Our driver was funny and shared interesting information.
