Ponta Preta Beach
As soon as we meet, we´ll start the tour and our first destination is “Ponta Preta” (Ponta means edge and Preta means black). At this spot you´ll witness a contrast between white natural sand dunes and dark coloured volcanic rocks entering the sea. This amazing combination creates a unique phenomenon of huge and beautiful waves. And this is the reason why this location is the stage for the performance of water sports competitions like surf, windsurf and others of a world known level.

5.00What a fantastic day. Everything we could have wished for and more. So well organised. Very informative guides and saw far more of the island than we would have on our own. Well worth every single penny.

5.00In one word great! Pleasant and kind Mr. Ola, who offered us a trip on the beach near the hotel and told us everything about the trip. The trip itself went great, pleasant guides, great places and a visit to a restaurant with good food. As a bonus, there is a photographer who will give you eternal memories of this trip. We were full of experiences for the whole day and thank you very much for that!

5.00We went on a private Sal island tour with 4 persons with guide Jhon today. We had a great experience. We would like to thank Jhon again for the amazing day. If you’re going to Sal, I would absolutely recommend to book the island tour and ask especially for him 🙏. Also had amazing fish at our lunch stop. Thank you Jhon, and Ola tours for the amazing day 🫶🏼

5.00We did one of Alexs island tours and had an incredible day out, like Alex the team who took us around the island were lovely and very informative. We would recommend the tour but your back knows about it the back of the jeep the next day

5.00Just returned from the Sal Day Tour with SPOT travel. It delivered everything it promised, all of the guides on the three vehicle tour were helpful and informative but a special mention to our driver and guide Cula, who ensured everybody was looked after. There seems to be a lot of tour companies doing this trip, however I would recommend giving this company a try. Also, a mention to Pablo who we booked the trip through, you'll find him most mornings on the walkway by the Morabeze Hotel.

5.00We had a fantastic day with very nice people and great guides. At all stops we received a lot of interesting information and explanations. We learned a lot about this beautiful island. The highlights were salt fields, blue eyes, fishing village, lunch in town, lemon sharks salt floating. In short, an absolute must!! Thank you so much for this great memory!!

Sal tour with Lindin tour or Lindim tour - to avoid!

1.00If you want to have lovely memories of Sal and capoverdian people do not take the tour with Lindin tour. We booked the island tour with them unfortunately. They lied to us since the beginning. Out of the 12 stops they list you, they made only 3: Murdeira, Salinas and shark bay, plus a three-hour (!!!) stop at a restaurant in Palmeira. We did not get to see Palmeira, kite beach, Santa Maria, Espargos, Buracona, which are the land marks. It has been truly disappointing. The guide did not give us much explanation and when we highlighted that we did not see what we were told we would have seen, they said: “we drove you there”. Really rude people. Not enjoyable at all. They were just looking forward to take us back to the resort. I would recommend to avoid this tour!
