This half day city tour will show you the rich diversity of the city with lovely beaches, mosque, fruit farms and markets.
The first place will be Sultan Qaboos Mosque. The next stop is Haffa Souq - a traditional market that sells perfumes, clothes, souvenirs and the famous Frankincense, at the shores of Haffa Beach, with white sand beach and coconut trees. The souq is located in Haffa Beach (the beach can be seen from the souq and not as a separate stop).
The next stop is halwa tasting stop, where you can taste local Omani halwa - saffron, date, honey and nuts flavor and buy to take back home as a gift.
See the farm of banana, coconut and papaya at the next stop. This place has coffee and tea shop, good place to sit and observe the farm. A small walking track is there in the farm.
The last stop is Salalah Grand Mall, the largest mall in Salalah. Variety of shops for perfumes, garments and food court, cafes and departmental store for shopping. See locals and culture.

3.00Booked this experience with a guide in English, we found myself and my husband alone with a bus of Poles. Picked up punctually at our hotel with a Polish guide, by bus he only continued to speak Polish even though he spoke perfect English. Arriving at the mosque we found Ahmed there who guided us inside. Then we got back in the bus and were taken to the souk and when we asked Mis Anna how long we could stay she replied to turn to Ahmed. Who just arrived with his car was sent back to the mosque because someone had left something there 🙀 So for us no explanation in English!!! Then another stop without understanding what we could do In the end Ahmed took us with His Car So Ahmed very kind person Ms Anna absolutely unprofessional

4.00We travelled during EID so many places were closed. We did get to go to Mosque, ride by beach and ride by souk. We also rode by the palace.

3.00Interesting tour but the mosque was closed to tourists because of Ramadan. The tomb of the prophet Ayub (Job for Christians) has puzzled us a little ... We expected something bigger! Visiting the souks and other shops allows to finalize the purchase of his souvenirs ... The Museum of Incense explains the history of this culture.

5.00It was a very interesting and very informative half-day city tour accompanied by Rashid - the nicest, most helpful and engaged tour guide we could have. Apart from our schedule we visited many more places, heard a lot of interesting stories about Omans life and are very thankful for this experience!

5.00Abo Salim was the best guide. He was so knowledgeable and he shared so much about Omani heritage and culture. The city is so spacious and safe. Abo Salim helped us to buy souvenirs at fair prices and took us to the best artisans in town.

5.00This half-day excursion in Salalah was both enjoyable and serene, packed with fascinating insights! Our guide, the incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable Ali Quahoor, took us to the stunning Sultan Qaboos Mosque first. After that, we explored the mountains and visited Job’s tomb, surrounded by breathtaking and tranquil scenery. Next, we indulged in a traditional Omani lunch at a quaint market where we had the chance to purchase authentic Frankincense, all while soaking in the beauty of the nearby beaches. It was a truly delightful experience, and our guide was exceptionally helpful, enhancing our adventure even further! Absolutely loved it! 🙏🏻
