We arrived at the airport and we were already waiting who would take us to the agency there was Diego, who cared for us all the time so that not only we have the best experience but so that we can arrive the next day on time on our flight. Disappointing Experience with Salty Desert Aventours – Uyuni Salt Flats Day Tour

2.00The Salar de Uyuni itself is absolutely breathtaking, but our experience with Salty Desert Aventours did not fully meet expectations. One of the key highlights listed in the itinerary is **Isla Incahuasi (Cacti Island)**. However, during the tour the driver/guide initially claimed that the island was “not part of the itinerary.” After we insisted and showed that it was indeed included, he then made several excuses not to go, saying it was too far and that the rainy season would make the trip there and back take too long. This conflicted with what was advertised on the booking page. As a group, we decided to skip other stops such as the salt factory and salt craft shops and asked him to take us directly to Isla Incahuasi. He eventually agreed, though reluctantly, and we are very glad we insisted because it ended up being the highlight of our trip. It’s an incredible place in the middle of the salt flats, with thousands of cacti growing on a hill and truly unique 360 views. Another issue was that the driver moved very slowly between stops and often seemed to be delaying, which reduced the time we could spend enjoying the locations. We also had to repeatedly ask him to take photos for us. Perspective photos on the salt flats are a big part of the experience, while other groups nearby had guides actively assisting guests with photos. Salar de Uyuni is an amazing destination, but the poor guiding and failure to follow the advertised itinerary made this tour less enjoyable than it could have been. I would recommend researching other operators if you want a smoother and more engaging experience.

5.00On December 30, 25, we booked a one-day Salar de Uyuni tour with Jose as tour guide. This was an incredible tour, it couldn't have been better. The nature was breathtaking, the photos correspondingly fantastic. Jose has given us a truly unforgettable experience. He took care of us lovingly and went to great lengths with everything. 5.00I'm Andrés from Colombia. An incredible experience in a magical place like the Salar de Uyuni. We are lucky that the weather allowed us to see the mirror effect we wanted to see so much. Alejandro our guide does a spectacular job with a detailed explanation of the sites visited during the day. The photo shoot that makes those who pay for this tour is a great job with very professional results. I recommend this tour and Alejandro, we were very satisfied with everything. It really exceeded our expectations. Thank you for your excellent service, great work.

5.00Great experience! Our guide driver was perfect (Gilberto), considerate, and very friendly. Unfortunately we had a bus problem back to La Paz which forced us to shorten the service (from 2 days to 1 day) and the whole team helped us so that this setback was no longer a problem. I highly recommend!

5.00This was probably the most outstanding, unbelievable, incredible experience my partner and I have ever experienced. The landscape and views were like no other. It felt like we were at the edge of the world. Our trip felt so smooth from the beginning with Diego Arrieta setting us up with our chauffeur and trip within 30 minutes of arriving in Uyuni. We were going the skip the trip as we had a late bus to catch, but Diego reassured us that they would get us back on time, which we did, and we are forever grateful. We had the best guide in the world, Rober, who took outstanding photos, video, provided us with wine, a safe and smooth ride, and just a wonderful picture perfect experience overall. BOOK WITH THIS AGENCY AND NOONE ELSE. It will be the trip of a lifetime and you will make lovely friends along the way. We are forever grateful! Kayli and Jack.
