During the trip, you will visit one of the oldest working Salt Mines in the World – the Wieliczka’s Salt Mine, which has been producing table salt for over 700 years! Your English speaking guide will take you up to 140 meters underground for a 2,5-hours journey through over 2,5-kilometres long tourist route full of chambers with amazing carvings and statues and large collection of mining machines and equipment, where everything is made of salt. Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 metres underground), you have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 steps. After the tour, you will be taken up to the surface with a lift.

5.00We had a great time with our guided of the saltmine. It is an extremely interesting place as well as beautiful. Our driver Daniel was a lovely young man. Very polite and knowledgeable.

5.00Everything was Brilliant, from start to finish. Excellent communication. The driver SIMON S was outstanding so polite and friendly, he gave us recommendations of where to eat, nothing was too much trouble. The tour guide for the salt mines, Patricia, was also brilliant with a very good sense of humour. I thoroughly recommend this company A+++++

5.00We booked this tour while away. I messaged and Wiktor sorted everything for us. We were picked up early from our hotel and transported to the salt mines. After a short break we joined a guided tour. Fantastic. Once finished I messaged our guide Wiktor and we met at the meeting point to travel back. We were dropped where we asked. Fantastic service highly recommend

5.00Our driver Marcin was fantastic! We had a great trip to the salt mines. The drive from our pickup point near the main square only took 25 minutes. If you are staying in the main square be aware that traffic isn't permitted so you will have a 3-minute walk to a pickup point. We received a message the day before confirming the time. Marcin made sure we were all comfortable on the drive and explained the tour and where to go. On departure, he was happy to drop off wherever anyone wanted to go. The mines are a lot of steps so be prepared and contrary to belief it isn't cold down there! Great experience and would definitely book via Touristico in the future.

5.00Very worth visiting the salt mines. What a huge complex and what beautiful salt sculptures. Our driver Daniel from Krakow Touristico took us to the entrance and waited for us afterwards, a friendly driver and everything fine arranged.

5.00We booked this tour with Touristico Cracow after having an excellent experience with them the day before at Auschwitz-Birkenau. Once again, everything was perfectly organized. Our driver Konrad arrived right on time and was incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. On the way, he shared the history of the places we passed. You could tell he truly cared about making sure we understood where we were going, what to expect, and where to be next. We always felt guided, never rushed or confused. The tour itself was smooth, well coordinated, and easy to follow. The Salt Mine is absolutely worth seeing. It’s unique, impressive, and something you don’t forget. We were very glad we chose Touristico Cracow again. Reliable service. Clear communication. Kind, respectful drivers who take care of everything. Highly recommend!

5.00Let's be honest it would not top of your list of places you would normally visit, however on a old rainy polish day it is great. It actually was very interesting and worth the trip
