Salt Mine is famous not only in Poland, but also in the world, thanks to the beautiful Salt Mine, visited by over 1 million tourists a year. Since the thirteenth century, the city is known as the mining center of this resource, and the mine was founded thanks to Saint. Kinga. The mine is a labyrinth of underground pavements with a length of 300 km. It is a valuable monument of material culture and technical thought. Visiting the Mine takes about 2-3 hours and takes place on several alternative routes. Travel time from Krakow to Wieliczka is about 30 minutes. This is a tour with a private transfer from Krakow. Sightseeing takes place in groups with other participants.

5.00Tom was a great driver. He was very social and willing to help his clients any way he could. He gave us many tips on: where to go for meals, sight seeing and other parts of Poland to see. He is also very knowledgeable about Polands history and was explaining their history to and from the salt mines. The salt mines were absolutely amazing! A must see!

5.00What a wonderful experience to visit the underground mine. Our guide was very knowledgable and caring, making sure she had the correct number of people in her care at every entrance to a different section of the mine and passageway. The length of visit was approximately 3 hours which didn’t include a visit to the museum. It did take quite a while to queue up for the lift back up to the entrance as the lift is very small and a confined space, only 9 per top and bottom.

5.00I would highly recommend this tour and Kacper as host was fantastic! He was more than accommodating, he told us stories about the legends, entertained us from start to finish! The salt mines are a must see, the history, skill and sights are amazing. The guide through the mines Alexandra was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience

5.00Good all round experience. Pick up from and return to hotel was very convenient. The tour itself was very well done. Be prepared to walk down some 800 stairs!! Return to the surface was fortunately via elevator.

5.00Great experience, pick up was smooth and on time from hotel. Friendly driver (Thanks Casper). Fascinating tour of mines, guide was very knowledgeable . A must do trip if you are in Krakow.
