Salt Mine is famous not only in Poland, but also in the world, thanks to the beautiful Salt Mine, visited by over 1 million tourists a year. Since the thirteenth century, the city is known as the mining center of this resource, and the mine was founded thanks to Saint. Kinga. The mine is a labyrinth of underground pavements with a length of 300 km. It is a valuable monument of material culture and technical thought. Visiting the Mine takes about 2-3 hours and takes place on several alternative routes. Travel time from Krakow to Wieliczka is about 30 minutes. This is a tour with a private transfer from Krakow. Sightseeing takes place in groups with other participants.

5.00I would highly recommend this tour and Kacper as host was fantastic! He was more than accommodating, he told us stories about the legends, entertained us from start to finish! The salt mines are a must see, the history, skill and sights are amazing. The guide through the mines Alexandra was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience

5.00Good all round experience. Pick up from and return to hotel was very convenient. The tour itself was very well done. Be prepared to walk down some 800 stairs!! Return to the surface was fortunately via elevator.

5.00Fantastic from start to finish. Guide was lovely from the hotel pick up to drop off. So friendly and knowledgeable. Got there and everything was so smooth. Whole trip was fantastic. Highly recommended.

5.00Everything went smoothly, excellent communication from the tour operator, we were picked up from our accommodation. Very interesting tour of the salt mines. The tour involves lots of walking and lots of stairs. Highly recommend the whole experience.

5.00Such a great place to visit. Totally blew me away and a must see if you are anywhere near Krakow. Groups are small (20 in ours) headsets are given so you don't miss a thing. A lot of walking but not strenuous at all and all the stairs are downward with a lift back up. We booked through Trip Advisor and had a hotel pick up and drop off from a great guide who pointed things out on the journey and told us some history too. 4 hours in total - great value for money and a great morning out.
