The Journey from the city to san blas is about 2.5 hours. We will begin our trip at 5AM. Pickup times are from 5 - 5:20AM. Please make sure to be ready and waiting at the lobby of your building. Our drivers will contact you the night before and in the morning as they are arriving. Keep in mind sometimes there can be delays if customers make us wait and are not ready. For the reason we urge all customers to be up and ready at 5AM.
During our Trip you will visit 4 Locations / Islands (subject to availability) We will begin our trip at 5AM. Pickup times are from 5 - 5:20AM. We will arrive to el Puerto de Carti between 8:30-9AM depending on traffic.

5.00It was so much better than I even anticipated!!! There are bathrooms and drinks for sale at every stop. You have plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of each island without getting bored. Definitely bring Dramamine for the car ride if you get any kind of motion sickness.

5.00At first, I was hesitant to book a getaway to the San Blas islands considering how involved the process for getting to the islands was from Panama City. Nonetheless, Sea San Blas made this trip go as smoothly as it could have gone! We were picked up within the half hour so do be aware of the fact that they may tell you pick up is at 5 am but it may be another half hour before they pick you up depending on how many people are going. For my group, it was 2 of us that joined 4 other travelers in a 7 person SUV that had air conditioning. Our driver made a stop for us to get cash at an ATM and also at a gas station. The trip to the port was very windy and included many curves. I get carsick so I took dramamine before starting the trip and fell asleep for most of the way there and the way back. If you are also prone to getting carsick, I highly recommend taking your medication before riding back to the port for the ride in the SUV back to Panama City as well. The actual islands were unbelievably gorgeous and made the voyage to get to them completely worth it (see attached!) The only thing I would say is that the locals such as the guide on the boat mostly speak Spanish so it would be useful to have key phrases memorized and confirm with them the time you have to be back at the boat after each island to avoid getting left behind. The lunch options were between fish and chicken and the chicken we were served was very well cooked and seasoned. You are also able to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on some of the islands as well as even a coconut! Some take card/apple pay but I would bring cash as a backup. Everything was well organized from what I could see and I would 100% book with this company again. I wanted to write this review even though I usually don’t as I know how daunting having so many different companies to book with can be. If you’re on the fence, I say go for it with Sea San Blas! You will have a great experience.

5.00San Blas is a paradise. The excursion is long and heavy although it compensates for every minute. Three islands, each different. Local fish lunch, and bath with snorkeling on the high seas. Beautiful day with a perfect guide.

5.00The journey starts strong with the 4x4 ride; the curves are intense but the views are worth it. Very important: do not forget the original passport, as at the checkpoint they are strict and do not accept copies or photos. Go to the Dutch Key is a delight!

5.00I admit that I hesitated a little about booking this trip, given the very early pickup and a 2.5 hr drive to destination. Boy, am I glad that I went!!! The islands are absolutely gorgeous. Imagine a perfect tropical paradise, and these will still beat what you'd imagined. We visited three islands and the natural pools (crystal clear shallow waters right in the middle of the Caribbean) and had an amazing time. The food was delicious. As far as the car ride itself, I personally enjoyed it. You're driving through scenic mountains, and your view is a beautiful tropical rainforest. However, if you do easily get car-sick, I'd take some Dramamine beforehand, as the road does get curvy at times. The driver and the boat crew were great. Thanks to everyone who made this day so memorable!

5.00Even though we were people from different bookings and agencies, the main guide made sure we all knew the departure time of each island, they strive to have an amazing day and feel welcome in their territory!
