Experience Old San Juan in a delightful ode to its seat of honor within the history of the New World’s conquest. Receive insight into the life of the common city dwellers, as well as the military origins of the Spanish stronghold that is the City of Saint John the Baptist.
Our licensed tour guide will impart on a walking tour along the Paseo de la Princesa (Princess Promenade) to enter the old city through the historic San Juan Gate. Believed standing since approximately 1540. Once inside see Plazuela La Rogativa.
Then it’s on to visit the Basilica Manor Cathedral San Juan Bautista, full of devotion, architecture, and art. Our guide walks you through its history and mystique.
Later learn about La Fortaleza, today it remains the official residence of Puerto Rico’s governor. Close by, take pictures of Cristo Chapel, Pigeon Park and La Casa Estrecha (the Narrow House), one of the skinniest houses in the world. Finish with a Piña Colada at Barrachina Restaurant.

The Capitol of Puerto Rico
El Capitolio de Puerto Rico was to become the House of Representatives and the location for senators’ offices. The building faces the Atlantic Ocean and has a somewhat intimidating design. The entire structure is a wonderful example of Neoclassical Revival Style architecture. You can visit this place with our certified tour guide.

5.00The tour was very complete and the driver was very knowledgable. We enjoyed seeing all the sites and hearing the history. At the end of the tour, we had the option of going back to our starting point or being dropped off in the old town. We said we wanted to stay so he drove us back to his favorite restaurant for authentic Puerto Rican food. It was a good choice.

5.00Narayan is a gifted historian and tour guide, able to navigate traffic, while pointing out important history of San Juan. The combination of walking and riding tour was outstanding. Would definitely do it again.

5.00Communication was excellent Driver on time In nice van with ac, Narayan was excellent driver and tour guide. Lots of history and knowledge of san juan We were tired because we didn't get to san juan until 1am same day and thought about canceling. Glad we didn't very nice time. Well worth the money

5.00Lismar was an excellent driver & guide. She has been doing this for years and knows her stuff. This tour was a driving tour mostly with about 5 stops. She picks you up in a nice van, easy to get in & out and comfortable. She dropped us off after the tour closer to our b n b. This tour was for those who don’t want to walk(or can’t anymore)the hilly streets of San Juan with the heat but want to see the areas of importance. She even showed us the area she lives. She explained all questions asked. We were a group of 6 which was perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to call her again when in town. Her company is “Seeing Puerto Rico”. Tell her hi from us!!

5.00What an excellent and knowledgeable Lismar as my tour guide. She explain well the place we visited. She even went extra to show as the artistic murals that we tourists never seen. Great job and well recommended tour for last minute booking.

5.00I would take this tour over and over. This was very informative, educational and fun even though it rained. We enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend. We had a rare opportunity to visit the State Capitol building and the welcomed to participate in special program happening honoring Puerto Rico and it’s history. Loved every minute!!!

5.00Booking thru Viator was easy and informative.. The communication from the tour company was great Our tour guide Lismar was very informative, knowledgeable and our group had a great time! We drove around Old San and more. Would recommend to get familiar with area and history.
