  We had a great time. I highly recommend this tour as it's well worth the money! Vero was our guide and gave us great local knowledge. It would have been worth it without the pintxos.

  Great tour of Old Town San Sebastián wrapped inside a fantastic Pintxos experience. Our guide Kai was fun, knowledgeable and flexible. We gained valuable incite into the process of visiting the various restaurants that really helped us during the remainder of our stay in town. The food and wine we had were great and we enjoyed the day a great deal. Kai shared his knowledge of food, wine, history and his personal experiences - he was a delight. Highly recommend doing this tour early in your visit to San Sebastián so that you get the lay of the land.

  Our guide Almaden’s was a local, full of personality and shared her city with us. We really enjoyed our time with her and got to taste amazing food and wine from Basque Country! We loved experiencing the pinxto culture!

  Veronica guided us with one other couple to all the best pintxo bars in San Sebastián. She is a wealth of knowledge, and chose the most delicious pintxos for us to try. She also has a wonderful sense of humor and was just plain fun to spend time with. Topa!

  Superb tour with Itziar - she was absolutely lovely and chose the most delicious pintxos for us to taste. She took us to bars we would not have gone into and gave us a true flavour of San Sebastián! A delightful way to spend our wedding anniversary - thank you!

  Excellent experience! We decided to do the pintxos tour as we thought it would be a good way to get to know the local bars and food, we weren’t disappointed! It was our first visit to San Sebastián and, before the tour, we found it a little daunting knowing where to go and how to order etc. Our guide, Kai, was very knowledgeable about the local area and cuisine. The tour was relaxed and friendly with a few mentions of local history along the way. We haven’t done many group tours before and I didn’t know what to expect but it was a small group and not overwhelming at all. It was such a joy to have the decisions made for us; Kai chose dishes and drinks at each bar we visited and everything we ate and drunk was delightful. We got to try things we may not have otherwise ordered. I would happily do this tour every day we are in San Sebastián! Great value for money and a highlight of our trip so far.

  Truly phenomenal tour with delicious Pintxos and great wine pairings. Our guide Kai was absolutely awesome - easy to talk to, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and took us to great spots. The tour felt like spending a relaxed afternoon with friends while enjoying excellent food, wine, conversation and learning about the history of the city and its culinary scene. I think the Mimo tour is 100% a must-do experience for any visitor!

  This was worth every penny. A must if you are staying in San Sebastián for a few days and want to experience the food without worrying about which place to visit and how/ what to order. It also felt like a skip the line tour as in some bars there were queues but our guide was able to by pass these. Kai was so knowledgeable and shared not only his knowledge of food and wine but also the local history. Kai was extremely welcoming and personable and we felt at ease during our 3 hour tour.   We had the most amazing food tour with Kai at Mimo. Hubby and I have done food tours on many of our travels - San Francisco, Washington DC, Paris, Prague, Madrid, and many more. This was by far one our favorites!! Kai is so knowledgeable , fun and took us to amazing restaurants. He is a true foodie and is passionate about the San Sebastián food scene. I tried things I normally wouldn’t and was SO pleasantly surprised, and we were able to taste the fantastic wine and cider. You will love this tour, you will walk away knowing more about San Sebastián and its roots, how it backs the renown food capital , and where to go to get the best pintxos in town. We did this our first day in town and now know where to eat for the rest of our stay. Thanks for a great day Kai!

  I enthusiastically recommend the San Sebastián Pintxos and Wine Tour! From start to finish, it was an absolute delight. Our guide, Kai, perfectly paced each stop and introduced us to unique Basque flavors, hidden gems, and must-try specialties. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and culinary scene but also friendly, engaging, and genuinely passionate about food and wine. Every taste was a new adventure—from savory fish and meat Pintxos, like hake chin, pork that tasted like beef, and fried rooster comb, to delicious Basque burnt cheesecake. We visited spots we never would’ve found on our own. Between the small plates and five different wines, I was fully satisfied. If you’re a foodie or just someone who loves exploring a city through its cuisine, this tour is a must-do.
