As you glide into oxbow lagoons, watch for acrobatic proboscis monkeys tumbling through riverside trees, their comical noses silhouetted against the sunset. Crocodiles bask like ancient sculptures on mudbanks, while iridescent kingfishers streak like sapphire arrows overhead.
