  The experience was great. They did an amazing job taking the pigs in and out and you can tell they are very well trained and cared for. It was not gross!!! Having a limited number of people made the beach time nice and peaceful. Everyone there was welcoming and we enjoyed talking and joking around. Lynch was good and you get a very good size portion and can even go get seconds if you want, you won’t be leaving hungry for sure!

  Initially we were really reticent in choosing this experience over others but having read the amazing reviews, we decided to give it a go. It was really warm so we decided to choose the premium drink package which includes frozen cocktails and it was worth it - the mixologists behind the bar were super friendly and willing to make drinks that were even off the menu! Heads up: the cocktails are quite strong (and delicious)! There are plenty of opportunities to interact with the pigs and seeing the peacocks and chickens (with chicks) was also amazing. I got to pet and feed the goats and try the hammocks. The beach is beautiful and there's plenty of space. The day was over before I knew it as there was so much to do and see. The staff was really friendly and the facilities very clean and comfortable. The only suggestions I have for the Sandy Toes management: - consider making people pay for a deposit on a reusable glass for their drinks which will reduce the plastic impact on the single use plastic cups currently used. It good be a good quality one that keeps the drinks cooler for longer and the deposit is returned at the end when the cup is returned to the bar staff for cleaning. - consider making smaller groups for the snorkeling experience. It felt very crowded so less enjoyable - it'd be great to have a veggie option for lunch. • Relaxing day on Rose Island

  We had a great trip to Rose Island with our kids (10 and 7). The transportation from our hotel was punctual and comfortable, though the ride was longer than I expected. Once we arrived we checked in and boarded the boat for the ~30 minute ride to the island. It was a beautiful day and the ride was calm. When we arrived there were pigs waiting for us on the dock (waving!). Snorkeling was the first activity - gear was provided and we were able to wade into the water from the dock. It was a short 30 minute snorkeling tour but we got to see lots of coral, a sea turtle, lots of fish and starfish - including getting to hold a starfish. After snorkeling we walked down to the beach and really the rest of the day was unstructured and relaxing. There is a full bar, shaded areas with couches, hammocks, etc. The pigs were brought out for periods of time and splashed in the water. Our kids had a chance to feed the pigs, swim with them, even race then I to the water. Lots of posed photo ops too. The beach was gorgeous, and waves were calm. There was a water trampoline for the kids too. Lunch included grilled chicken, salad, rice, bread and lemonade and there was a shaded picnic area to eat. All in all a great experience with well cared for pigs (not wild), that the kids and adults all enjoyed

  Had a lovely day out - boat ride just long enough. The island is beautiful, staff all very friendly. The beach area was especially great and really enjoyed seeing the swimming pigs. All seemed very healthy and happy. Lunch was delicious.

  I had high expectations because I have wanted to do this for decades. I brought my husband and two friends with me and all four of us had a blast! Rose Island is only half an hour away from the marina at Paradise Island, so it is very easy to get to. We did the snorkel trip at the beginning of the day and enjoyed it, but the pace was quicker that we were expecting. The day is well organized, with the pigs coming onto the beach several times to interact with the crowd. The trainers are obviously very attached to the pigs and the pigs are obviously very well cared for. Every employee we came in contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, and upbeat. The lunch was generous and filling. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

  Worth every penny, you have the island to yourselves and piggy interaction every 30 minutes. Cocktails at the bar were really good and a great little gift shop on the island too. Very well organised excursion.

  What an experience. Brought by boat to a private island where there is tons of activities to do. Wife and I went and have booked another trip with our son.

  We had high expectations and they were exceeded. Everything is well organised from checking in, boarding and crossing to the island. We chose not to snorkel but the guys who did said it was amazing and well worth the trip out. The island is nicely laid out and we were kept entertained by the animal interactions, eating, drinking and enjoying the beach. All the animals are well cared for are allowed to opt out of interacting with visitors if and when they so desire. Every member of staff was a joy, so enthusiastic, friendly and focused on the welfare of the animals. The lunch was basic but nonetheless excellent and well organised. The day went so quickly leaving us with some fabulous photos and even better memories. I was half minded to revisit again before our return home. If you do nothing else whilst in the Bahamas this is a must do trip!!

  Sorry folks. Save your money. We had bad weather. Cold. Windy. The beach is useless. The pigs were nice but really they only pay attention to the staff. Lunch was good. But by that point it started to rain and everyone just felt like hostages until the boat came back.

  My mom and I spent the day with Sandy Toes and had a blast! The initial snorkeling wasn't great, but it was windy. However, the lunch was better than most of the tours I've been on, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable - and the piggies were so cute :-) It was the highlight of my trip!
