3.00Fun trip and got to see a lot but bus ride was a bit scary. Went on a flooded route where no other buses appeared to be traveling g for good reason. Thought bus would tip over or get stuck. Tour guide was great.

5.00Great way to explore the island, salt lake was great, shark activity good fun and informative, the mirage ok, could have done without Blue eye trip at the end, an hour wait to see something not that interesting, would have been better to go to a beach for a swim. Guide Kiki very good.

3.00We first visited the shark bay. I did see a total of 3 small sharks and the experience was rushed. On the way out we spent some time towing a car out of mud since it got stuck - that took away some time from our half a day tour. We then went to the salinas. Again we were told that we had 15-20 mins to float but it was super rushed there again - I maybe floated for a max of 5 mins. We then saw a mirage - quite interesting. After that we went to see the blue eye - the least interesting part of the trip where we spent / wasted majority of our trip. Additionally to this our tickets were supposed to be “skip the queue” and hence we decided to pay a bit more. We did not skip the queue… I suggest you pick the cheaper option of the same trip.

5.00Picked up promptly in a clean and comfortable mini bus. The trip was very enjoyable and our host Shan was fun and informative. We kept to schedule and had more than enough time at each stop off but not too long that you became bored. Seeing other day trippers doing the same tour in the back of flat bed trucks covered in filth and dust we were happy to be in air conditioning. Highly recommended as it was a small group which meant less chance hanging around for others. My tip would be pack travel shoes or crocs. You can hire them for 2 E. All the entrance fees and experiences were included.

5.00Very friendly tour guide. Got to see some natural sites of Cape Verde and would highly recommend. The sharks are a must, though the salt mines are a close second.

3.00The Salinas was the highlight of the trip - very cool to float and exfoliate with the natural salt and mud! The shark experience left much to be desired - you walk out to knee high water and the “guides” use a dead fish to lure the lemon sharks to your area. They didn’t tell us one fact or story about the sharks - they didn’t speak at all. It’s not a swimming experience or anything special besides standing there for about 10-15 minutes. The blue eye was a bit disappointing too — by the time we got there it was no longer centered in the water. You stand in line for about 20 minutes just to see the sun shine into a hole. We were told we would be swimming in the natural pool there as well. It wasn’t until we were stepping off the bus that they explained depending on the day, we may or may not be able to swim…and of course, it was a no swim day due to natural conditions. We understand that it was a safety issue, but would have liked to have been aware of the possibility when we had the opportunity to shower at the salt mine instead of carrying that with us the rest of the day.
