(On Mondays, when the cable car is closed for maintenance, we’ll replace this with a relaxing stop for a specialty coffee or artisanal ice cream at a local café.)

Cerro San Cristobal
Travelers visiting Cerro San Cristóbal can experience a combination of natural beauty, history and reflection. Reach the summit by taking a funicular or cable car to the top and be rewarded with expansive vistas of the city skyline and the majestic views of the Andes mountain range. At the summit, you will find a towering statue of the Virgin Mary, known as the Virgen del Cerro San Cristóbal. This iconic monument serves as a symbol of protection for the city (except on Mondays) Visitors can explore the area around the statue and appreciate its religious and cultural significance. Please be aware that this activity is not available on Monday because both cable-car and gondola lift is under maintenance. Instead, you can ride the shuttle bus to the top or enjoy an ice-cream or coffee.
Bellavista
The neighborhood is adorned with colorful street art, murals, and graffiti, making it a paradise for art lovers and photographers. Every corner you turn offers a new piece of urban artwork to admire.

5.00Rodrigo was a very friendly and extremely knowledgeable tour guide. He showed us all the landmarks of Santiago- museums, Cathedral, the market, all political landmarks and a host of other things. His knowledge on history, architecture, politics, culture, food of Chile but especially Santiago, is remarkable. He made it a very well paced, educational and at the same time very pleasant tour with personal observations thrown in. It was a very well spent morning with Roderigo. As one of the parks was closed, as outlined in the description, we went to an alternative park and enjoyed seeing the South American swans and some of the local flora.

5.00Álvaro is tremendously knowledgeable. He answered every question I had regarding culture, history, politics, and trends in Chile. He’s extremely intelligent, educated, respectful and attentive to the needs of the tourist. He was patient and took all my pictures (which I was grateful for). I had a wonderful time and learned a ton. I can’t wait to come back to Chile! Our driver was extremely kind and careful on the road. I was given a splendid experience. This tour is definitely worth it.

5.00Well planned out with the route and included all the highlights advertised in the tour. As it was very hot late in the afternoon, we asked Juan Pablo to drive and point out government buildings and the various gardens and not do any more walking.

5.00Catalina was an extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide, and Carolina was a great driver. The vehicle comfortably did all 6 passengers. The tour included a ride in a cable car and a funicular, affording gorgeous views of the city. We also toured a variety of Santiago neighborhoods.

5.00Felipe was so knowledgeable about not just Chilebut also how social & political issues were related to those in other countries. He shared his own travel experiences, some of which we shared & it made it like he was a friend. In fact we wánt to spend another day with him next week.possibly best tour guide I’ve ever had anywhere. He even taught us Chilean slang.
