(On Mondays, when the cable car is closed for maintenance, we’ll replace this with a relaxing stop for a specialty coffee or artisanal ice cream at a local café.)

Cerro San Cristobal
Travelers visiting Cerro San Cristóbal can experience a combination of natural beauty, history and reflection. Reach the summit by taking a funicular or cable car to the top and be rewarded with expansive vistas of the city skyline and the majestic views of the Andes mountain range. At the summit, you will find a towering statue of the Virgin Mary, known as the Virgen del Cerro San Cristóbal. This iconic monument serves as a symbol of protection for the city (except on Mondays) Visitors can explore the area around the statue and appreciate its religious and cultural significance. Please be aware that this activity is not available on Monday because both cable-car and gondola lift is under maintenance. Instead, you can ride the shuttle bus to the top or enjoy an ice-cream or coffee.
Bellavista
The neighborhood is adorned with colorful street art, murals, and graffiti, making it a paradise for art lovers and photographers. Every corner you turn offers a new piece of urban artwork to admire.

5.00The guide, Leon, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helped me walk on uneven surfaces and stairs. The pace of the tour was perfect. I saw everything I wanted to see. The driver and vehicle were great too. I highly recommend this private tour. Worth every penny.

5.00A wonderful insight to the city of Santiago. Our tour guide, Franco, was extremely knowledgeable about the history, the present day, and the future of the city as well as the country of Chile. The walking tour allowed a close up to historical buildings, the President’s residence, Government offices, parks, and eateries. The Funicular and Gondola rides provided spectacular views. An excellent experience with a friendly, informative guide , Franco. Adriana, our driver was also friendly and excellent.

5.00Natalia (guide) and Roberto (driver) were wonderful!! We had an excellent, informative, safe and fun experience and learned a lot. Natalia is a skilled guide who tailored the day to our interests, wasn’t rushed and still managed to impart a ton of information (which is what we hoped for) about the history of Santiago and Chile while we explored notable spots in the city. She even left us with excellent restaurant recommendations. Roberto safely and effectively delivered and collected us from all over the city, arriving exactly when we were ready to move on. Please do yourself a favor and schedule this at the start of a visit to Santiago. I feel so much more prepared to have a richer visit after spending the time on this tour (Natalia also left us with additional suggestions for things to do and see) The van was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with chilled bottles of water.

5.00Saw all the major buildings and hills in Santiago, plus a funicular/cable car ride. Our guide Juan shared a lot of historical background and political info, which was really interesting, and he was funny too. Nice having a separate driver so we could be dropped off/picked up and get to all the sites more easily.
