Fira is the beautiful capital of the island and the biggest and most cosmopolitan settlement of Santorini. It is located in the western edge of the island, opposite the volcano and the two volcanic islands, Palaia Kammeni and Nea Kammeni that lie in the sea. The hike from Fira to Oia in Santorini is simply breathtaking. Stunning caldera views, whitewashed villages, and endless blue sea the entire way. Panos, our amazing local guide, made it even better. His knowledge, stories, and friendly energy brought the island to life. Totally recommended!

Our hike with Panos was one of the best experiences we had throughout our five weeks of travel in Europe. He was so informative, patient, and very aware of safety while we were taking the hike. He had no doubt that we were capable of doing it And made it such an outstanding experience. Whenever you are in Santorini, please make sure you participate in this excursion.

We went with our friends; we were two couples. Panos met us early so we could get ahead of the cruise ships. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We absolutely loved our hike and it was our favorite activity on Santorini.

This was a wonderful experience! Panos was the best guide. He was so knowledgeable about the island and showed us everything. He was so pleasant and we really really enjoyed ourselves. We were able to see so much of the island and get amazing photos together. I would Highly recommend this to anyone !

Just do it. You won't regret it!! The hike and was beautiful and was the highlight of the Santorini trip. Our guide was a local and he was great. If your considering i suggest you go.

Panos was an excellent guide. The walk from Fira to Oia was a great way to experience Santorini. The hike was a little more adventurous than we expected, but the views were amazing. Panos stopped along the way to give us some history and information about the island. He also gave us the opportunity to finish the trip to Oia via a van, which we did. He helped us explore Oia and helped us return to Fira. Even though we didn’t complete the hike we were glad that we booked this tour!
