By reserving your experience with Sunset Caribbean you will live unforgettable moments enjoying the trip from the moment of departure knowing the route to the city of Bayahibe in La Romana, upon arrival at the port you can take off your shoes and enjoy walking barefoot on the fine white sand and From the beach with crystalline waters, going to the island is done in speedboats or catamarans and the return is done in reverse; Before arriving, a stop is made at the natural pool and you can enjoy getting to know the mangroves in the area, the school of fish, among other interesting experiences. 5.00It was a long travel day, but the journey was worth it! The island is beautiful. All of the staff were nice and very helpful with the boat transfers to and from the island.
Lots of travel in on land and sea for a beach and ordinary food.

4.00A lot of time wasted boarding and disembarking shuttles and catamaran in addition to the drive to the port of Bahibe. Long trip by catamaran to get to, boat not comfortable. Site is ok, the beach/sea where we are docked were nothing special, maybe we hit it wrong because there is a fairly long part of the island where boats stopped. The very short and medium snorkeling , the stop at what they call the natural beach (a shallow place offshore where the water is beautiful) was ok.

1.00They claim to pick you up at 0600 but we were not picked up until after 0800. They also neglect to inform you of the over two hour drive to the port to begin the excursion. You do not sail out of Santo Domingo. Better communication on what to expect is definitely needed.

5.00It’s amazing ! The driver reached out the night before to tell me what time they would be arriving to pick me up at the Airbnb. They were prompt and friendly. They took us to the beach where we met the captain and they gave us a green colored string to wear which I loved so you know who is with who . We then boarded a smaller boat to get onto a catamaran. On the catamaran we were given rum and coke and there was music and dancing. We arrived at a first island where we got off to swim And enjoy for a bit - we saw a leatherback turtle While here which was an absolutely amazing experience.. We then went on to Saona - we got smaller boats to take us on land - there again we had free drinks and a delicious lunch prepared for us. Saona island was absolutely beautiful and we spent the entire afternoon swimming and drinking. We got onto smaller speed boats to return to The mainland and again more rum and coke lol . On getting back to shore the driver was waiting for Us. An amazing experience overall and I would highly recommend.

5.00Incredible! 12/10! Absolute must do if you’re in Santo Domingo. And you don’t need to do the VIP version for a perfect day trip.
Would recommend a private tour instead, for only a little extra cost

3.00I would generally not recommend this trip. There were hundreds of people and the process is a bit cattle herd-y. It was definitely a mass enterprise kind of thing. We passed miles of quiet white sands coastline that would have been much preferable. If you do decide to go, here are a few things that may be helpful to know: - This is about 2 hours from Santo Domingo, and your tour guide will pick you up from your airbnb. - Sunset Caribbean will send you with a "tour guide" - they're not so much a guide like people who talk to you, but they will stay with your stuff while you swim, which is so helpful. She didn't speak any English, but was so so sweet to help me with my broken spanish, she spoke slowly enough for me to follow, and taught our kids how to dance XD - You don't need to bring towels or snorkeling stuff. We brought both, and wish we'd left them behind. - Bring snacks. It's fine to bring and eat on the boat(s). There is only lunch served, with a very long line and simple fare. For us, the whole day was 13 hours door to door, so we were famished :) - It's great for kids. Our 9 year old, 13 year old, and 17 year old all had an absolute blast. They agree it would have been much better on a private tour. - You drive out on a pontoon, and ride back on a catamaran. The catamaran is a delightful experience in particular. - The rum tastes like cleaning chemicals :D

1.00Horrible communication, never did get picked up at my hotel, skip these guys move on to the next!! Why let you book the tour only to not communicate and then message the day of and say sorry your not going.

4.00It’s a great shame that there are so many people and boats. Turquoise sea white sand. But the dozens of boats and hundreds of tourists risk gradually destroying this piece of paradise.
