Old Town Trolley Tours will be temporarily limiting seating to allow riders to maintain social distancing. Some sites included on the tour are the Davenport House, Forsyth Park, Colonial Park Cemetery, World famous River Street, City Market, Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, Mercer House, Broughton Street, Andrew Low House, Telfair Museum, The Waving Girl and much, much more.

Yes to the Hop on Bus....

We started our first day in Savannah with this hop on hop off bus. We road about 3/4 of the route and got off to eat lunch and meet a group and then later that afternoon we got on again and finished the route & then road a little longer. The bus drivers give lots of information. The seats are comfortable. There was a little wait in the afternoon to get on a bus, but they were trying very hard to accommodate everyone.

We went to Savanah on a Tuesday during our trip to Hilton Head, we were able to snag a parking spot at Forsyth Park and hopped on the trolly from there. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great driver. Now, I will say this was a bit of a waste of money for us personally due to the walk-ability of Savanah. This was our first time here and in my research every blogger, influencer, what have you, said to use the trolly. If you are able-bodied you will most certainly be able to walk the city and will enjoy doing so throughly. We rode the trolly from the park to River St. and never got back on. We’re both looking at 30 and we were probably the youngest ones on board. I don’t want to detract from the fact that it is a tour but it certainly wasn’t necessary for use from a travel aspect.

That there are two trolleys involved with this Hop On and Hop Trolley ride. Didn’t like standing in line for yet another trolley to take us places to complete our journey. Recommend one trolley only!

It was a great way to see Savannah and hear about the history without being in your car all day. We could get off and explore then catch another trolley.
