  Great information and best tour to start the trip off with. We saw stops and shops we otherwise might of missed and it helped pinpoint where we wanted to go back to, Our guide was great! I believe her name was Benz.

  If first time visiting the city this is a great way to get your bearings, using the 1 1/2 hr trolley tour. The drivers are very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah and were engaging.

  Have fun. Easy way to get around Savannah. You can hop off on any of their 15 stops and know that you can hop back on to finish the toir.

  Good overview of the major sites to see in downtown Savannah. Snaked its way up, down and all around. Trolley was full most of the time, but everyone who wanted a seat got one. Much better than walking the town

• We had a rough start as...

  We had a rough start as we did not have a QR code for our booking. One staff member, Gordon was kind enough to actually help us through the process. He had to call his boss and have the QR code sent to my phone via text. Nowhere in the purchase of this event did it say we had to download the app and get the tickets that way. I had the agent go through the entire page to see/confirm, that those instructions did not exist. We were finally able to get the QR code and get going. As we were going through this process, other people walked up and had to wait for us to finish getting the app downloaded and all of that before they could get checked in. And I looked at them and said I’m so sorry. I’m always the problem child, and the other agent, Miss Woo, muttered under her breath. I bet you are. Rude. During this ordeal, we were not rude to these agents, so it was uncalled for. I was just trying to mitigate the angst for the other people waiting their turn to check in. We rode for a few stops and then we got off to have lunch around one. We waited forever, at least 30 to 40 minutes for a trolley to stop to hop back on. It wouldn’t be so bad, but the entire time you’re riding the trolley it is stated that a trolley comes by every 15 to 20 minutes, so we just assumed that’s all the wait would be each time we wanted to get back on to continue the tour. That was unilaterally untrue. The second time we hopped off, we had a museum visit, which was great. But then trying to get back on a trolley to go back to our car just did not happen. Again, we waited at least 25 to 30 minutes if not more, and no trolley ever showed. We ended up walking back to our car not that I mind walking, but we did pay to hop on hop off all day, and literally couldn’t timely get back on once we got off. We only ended up experiencing roughly half of the tour. Should’ve just walked the downtown area from the start.

  So glad we chose to do the hop on hop off tour. Saw the entire city. The drivers are knowledgeable and funny.

• Great way to get around Savannah

  The hop on/hop off bus is a great way to see the city and learn lots of history. I suggest doing the entire 90 minute tour through all 16 stops, and then decide where you want to hop off. There are so many interesting things to see.

  We hopped on and off 3x. Our first driver, Red, was really good! Very knowledgeable. Weather was cold for early Feb so the sides were down. Wish I could have taken pictures. Mother Nature was not our friend that day.
