On this tour, you will be taken to five of the best food and drink spots Sayulita has to offer, tasting and learning about traditional Mexican food, drinks and spirits.
You will have an opportunity to try Tequila, Mezcal and Raicilla, both individually and in cocktail form. You will learn the distinct and unique tastes of each of these native Mexican spirits, as well as learn about the where they are made and the processes in which they are made.

5.00Marco was a great guide for tacos and tequila. He took us to four different places that we had not tried before. All of the tacos were different but all delicious. Marco was informative and very fun. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

5.00What a fantastic tour we had with Marco! We ate and learned so much about the food and culture here in Sayulita and got to meet great people too. This is the kind of experience you want when you travel to a new place. It made us fall in love with Sayulita even more! A must-Do at the beginning of your trip.

5.00This was our second time taking a tour with Mexican Culinary Experiences and we had a fantastic time. Marco was so kind and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. All the food and drinks were delicious and we learned about the restaurants and the culture of Sayulita. We are two very happy, and full travelers!! Highly recommend!!

5.00We were a group of 8 longtime friends in town for a girls trip. The taco and tequila tour sounded like the perfect way to get our bearings and try some amazing food and drinks. Everything about the tour exceeded our expectations. Marco was the BEST guide - he was so kind, knowledgeable, fun, and funny. The stops ranged from upscale to street tacos and all were fantastic. They're able to make any type of food accommodation necessary (but if you don't need accommodations, go with what he recommends - they're all recommended for good reason.) We had a wide variety of tacos (pork belly, baja shrimp, el pastor, and steak and chorizo) and drinks to compliment at each of the restaurants. We made a stop for a tasting of tequila, mezcal, and raicilla. We ended the night with a surprise street sweet treat. Throughout the rest of our stay, we'd see Marco working his other job (as a restaurant host) and say hi or stop in for a drink. It was always a pleasure running into him again. We'd highly recommend this tour (with Marco!) and would do it again if/when we return.

5.00I am so glad our friends found and booked this tour!! Marco was absolutely amazing! He was full of info about the food, the families that operated the places we stopped and the local culture. We learned so much about the types of liquors made from the agave plant and the regions they come from. Also about the history behind some of the foods we ate. He was so much fun! We ate, drank, made a couple new friends and laughed so much! This is the tour you want to take!

5.00Amanda and Marco were our guides for our large group. We had a fantastic time eating tacos, drinking margaritas and mocktails. It was the perfect amount of food and we learned a ton about agave spirits and the proper taco eating techniques. I had the best fish taco I’ve ever had in my life.
