Best small plane trip I have ever experienced, definitely a must do. One look at Antony and you just know you are going to have a safe flight—he exudes confidence and knowledge immediately. He was personable and kept us informed the entire trip. The flight was smooth and the views you won’t see any other way. Taking the plane back to Queenstown is sooo much faster and you are not as tired. I highly recommend you try this for at least one leg of your Milford Sound journey , you will not be disappointed. Thank you again to Antony for making us feel safe and comfortable on the small plane.

After our bus ride to Milford Sound and the great boat ride we decided to fly back to Queenstown. What a wonderful decision we made to fly with air Milford!! Our pilot Anthony was tremendous, and the scenery was amazing. Well worth it to take the flight back - and transportation right to our hotel. Thank you, Anthony and Air Milford. Frank and Mary Hawaii

Our female pilot was funny and smart and while she was flying pointed out the sites as we flew just above the first layer of clouds. As we flew though the mountains there was some expected minor air turbulence but nothing to worry about. With 3+ years on the job as pilot she was great and I told her so.

Great company that did a fantastic job transferring us from Milford Sound to Queenstown. We are with a tour company and we took the van out to Milford Sound and then we flew back on Air Milford. What a wonderful flight back. It was a gorgeous day and we saw so much by air. Alex was our pilot and really showed us so much. A big thanks and I would highly recommend.

We flew back to Queenstown on Air Milford after our cruise on Milford Sound. Moa Trek tours had arranged for the transfer. Our pilot, Antony Spoull, did a terrific job preparing us for the slight turbulence and pointing out some interesting facts about the spectacular scenery. He and his dad run a first class operation!

This flight was one of the single best experiences of my life. Weather pushed our flight out from a short hop to a longer air tour of the region, and it was absolutely incredible. Antony was amazing from greeting us at the port hub, escorting the group to the plane, and then the flying was outstanding. It's a small plane so expect a few bumps, but even those were smooth and so fun. The views of the fjord, the coast, and the incredible landscape of the area are absolutely incredible. I killed my camera battery taking pictures and video. So stunning. If you are going to the South Island - do this trip. My ONLY regret was that we took the bus out and flew back - knowing how great Milford Air and Antony are - should have flown both ways. 5 out 5 - 100% recommend. Worth the price!
Anthony made sure that each scenic viewpoint was visible from both sides of the plane so everybody could see encouraged

Antony Sprouses, our pilot met us at the airport very friendly greeted us with a handshake took photos in front of the plane before we loaded onto the plane remembered everybody’s name. We are on the flight breathtaking flight that took off and flew over the Milford sound.

Fantastic flight from Milford Sound back to Queenstown. Pilot Emma Penny flew over spectacular scenery and highlighted the sights along the way. I appreciated her letting us know when some brief bumps would occur. We were in very competent hands. We are traveling throughout New Zealand for a month and this was,without a doubt, a highlight of our visit.

Fantastic experience in a 10 seater plane piloted by Hugh Sproull. He provided excellent commentary after providing a thorough safety overview. Flight from Milford Sound to Queenstown only took a short 35 minutes. We had wonderful weather which allowed us to view the sound and surrounding mountains with clarity. Personnel at the airport terminal were professional and helpful. Highly recommend this reputable company for an air transfer from Milford sound to Queenstown.
