• Pleasant and informative tour of Antigua.

  A very pleasant and informative tour of Antigua, thanks to George and Leo. There was a slight hiccup at the start brought about by slight confusion over similar sounding hotels (Cocos and Cocobay just a mile or so apart and a John staying at room 23 in both hotels, with the other John having booked the same trip the following day). However that was quickly resolved with the help of our hotel staff and the tour company and we set off with Leo and one other couple (from Texas) in a minivan. We visited Devils Bridge, Nelsons Dockyard and Shirley Heights where we had lunch (included). There was plenty of time at each stop for exploration, photos etc. We were all grateful to get back in the minivan with the air-con as it was a warm day (30 C). There was also a scheduled beach stop which neither couple opted for as we both had excellent beaches at our hotels. This stop is for those who maybe do not have access to a nice beach. The roads and some driving in Antigua is challenging at times, however Leo transported us safe and sound.

  This was an excellent day with Leo. He was very nice, excellent sense of humor and extremely knowledgeable about the country and its history. Definitely take the day tour which includes a wonderful lunch.

  We had a great day with Carl! We learned lot about the country, had some delicious food including fresh mangoes, and spent time at a stunning beach. We went around practically the entire island and the day went very fast!

  Driver (Leo) was very informative and very funny. I was a single traveler and felt very safe. Unfortunately, we traveled on holiday so a lot of sites were not open,

  Leo was the best tour guide ever! He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and accommodating. He introduced us to a new drink that we just had to try, and he definitely made it happen. We loved our stop at Nelson's Dockyard. We met a friendly bartender there who lived in the States for a few years. The lunch we had at Mama's Delight was delicious. Try the oxtail, you won't be disappointed. I wished I remembered the name of the beach he took us to before we headed back to our resort. That beach was so beautiful! It was the best excursion because we experienced it as a family and didn't have a bus full of strangers. It was just us, which made it the perfect celebration for my mom's 70th birthday.

  

  

  

  

  

  

• A Great Day Out

  We were picked up from our hotel, along with two other guests. Our driver was a ypung mam called Leo who was very chatty and knowledgable, pointing out interesting sights and giving us some history. We travelled to Devil's Bridge and learned all about the atrocities that occurred at that spot and then we headed to the wonderful Nelson's Dockyard. If anything, we would have liked to have spent longer tham the 45 mins we spent there, such a pretty place. We then headed to Shirley Heights for lunch and the view was incredible. Our final stop was Turners Beach for another 45 mins (ish) and it was simply stunning. Our driver Leo was very clued up on UK politics and Premier league football, so there was lots of 'banter' during the trip. We had a really enjoyable dqy.

  We had a great day with Carl! We learned a lot about the country and really enjoyed ourselves. The day went by very quickly, and we even got some mangoes!

  Leo, our guide, was super friendly and answered any questions we had. I personally think the tour is a little expensive, we enjoyed it though. Nelson’s dockyard was the highlight of the tour.
