Our Highland Lochs and Glens bike tour is the ideal day out for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who really want to get out into nature and be at one with some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. Your friendly and experienced bike guide will accompany you along a 18 mile (30 km) segment of national cycle route 7, through the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. An area known for its mountains, lochs and ancient forest. Its hard not to be inspired by some of the most stunning Highland landscapes in the country. No wonder this is considered to be one of the most scenic cycle routes in Scotland.
Choice of quality manual bikes or pedal assist ebikes, for a more relaxed experience.
This tour includes an optional short hike around the scenic balquhidder braes - Weather dependent
Transfers from Edinburgh accommodation are included in cost of tour. Pick up between 08:00 and 08:30.
Bring card or cash for lunch stop at an award winning cafe/bar.

5.00Johann gave us a great tour. The bikes were top notch. He provided everything we needed including gloves for our cooler ride. He took us to a very quaint restaurant for lunch that had a variety of good options. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was very interesting to talk to. The scenery was beautiful and very peaceful. A great way to experience life beyond the city. Fully recommend.

5.00Johann was our bike guide for the day and we knew when we met him, it was going to be a good day. We stopped a few times along the way at small towns and historic sites. Johann is a local, so he was able to give us the historic info and the interesting local folklore. It was a fun way to learn! The views on the van ride to the Highlands and Trossachs National Park Park were amazing. The bike trip was so much fun. We rode on an old train trail winding along the beautiful countryside. Even a drenching rain didn’t dampen our fun. We stopped at a local restaurant for lunch, warmed up and dried off a bit before starting on the second part of the bike tour which was equally fun. We would highly recommend this trip, especially with Johann!!

5.00E-bike tour would have been perfect but for the weather. National Park and mostly off road trails cycling. Great little restaurant for lunch and very accommodating.

5.00Wow I cannot rate this high enough! I was so excited for this tour and it was even better than I expected. Johann stopped along the way to show us local sights and told us about the history of the places we went and then took us on the most beautiful bike ride through the highlands! We had great weather and the food at the lunch resturaunt was amazing (try the soup!) I really can’t reccomend this tour enough and Johann made it such a full and awesome day!!
