  Unfortunately are Sea Eagle Safari Trip with another company was cancelled due to bad weather and while theh left us in the dark, this company a couple of doors down on the waterfront, could not have been nicer, providing us with a warm, dry place to shelter from the rain and giving us a great laugh & a chat. • Never again - go to the one next door

  We went to their office in Svolvaer and they told us to book the trip from their website because they were about to leave with a group; so we booked and paid in advance the sea eagle tour. The day of the tour and only once we arrived at their office, they told us that because of the waves dimension the tour was canceled. We could accept it, but then we saw the other tours leave as if nothing. They had all our contacts but none of them reached out to us inform us that the your was canceled - we were not in Svolvaer, we got there only for the tour. The guy at the reception proposed to reschedule the tour for the following day or to get the refund (note: the refund is not immediate, they will contact you the next day). Then, they proposed us an alternative tour, but they did not check the availability or feasibility, so we received the second bad news of the day. They are not well equipped in case of bad weather and they also redirect the bookings to other tour operators. We left with a paid tour that we never did, hoping to be contacted tomorrow for the refund. Bad service and poor communication skills. I strongly recommend the tour operator next door.

  I went with my group to a boating safari. While boarding, their railing broke causing me to fall into freezing water along with my camera gear. The impact was I started an excruciating pain in my ribs. they called a doctor, and had a conversation with him/her. The decision was to get me some over the counter pain medicine, some light clothing, and a hotel room to rest. I wasn’t sent to a doctor’s office for examination and was sent away. I had to put on my wet coat and dripping snow pants to go back to my hotel that’s one hour away. The same night my pain caused me unable to sleep. I think this is a very irresponsible treatment for their customer. No follow up checking. I am contemplating a law suit!

  I was with a group, a winter photo tour of 3500 euros. On the third day we went for eagle watching. When I was boarding the boat, the rail of their ramp suddenly broke causing me falling into the freezing water. I ended up broke my ribs with severe muscle injury. The pain was excruciating. All my clothes were soaking wet along with my camera gear. All they did was buying a set of sports shirts and underwear along with some over the counter pain pills. I had to ware my wet coat and snow pants to go home which is an hour away. My whole trip was ruined. This is totally their negligence, and they offered no compensation. What an awful nightmare! Definitely don’t not recommend!

• Majestic Trollfjord with lots of sea eagles.

  A great two-hour trip to the majestically steep-sided Trollfjord. About twenty sea eagles came to feed giving great photo opportunities. Evsen, the RIB drive showed us his farm at the top of the fjord and spoke about life there. He was also very helpful to a disabled passenger.

  We went on the Sea Eagle tour and for me this was a dissapointment as I before the tour thought it would be the highlight. My aim was so take lots of photos of the eagles. The people working with kitting you our and also the guide were wonderful. But on the boat we were sitting so tight I could not get my camera out. When I had to change the memory card there was no room to get the new card out or even change it as one was nearly having ones nose in the person sitting in front of you. I would have loved to have som space and not sit as tight.

  I had an unforgettable time on the Sea Eagle Safari with XX Lofoten! The whole trip was breathtaking — stunning scenery, smooth boat ride, and incredible close-up views of the majestic sea eagles. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience fun and safe. They shared lots of interesting facts about the wildlife and the islands, which made it even more special. • High speed boat with great results!

  Our guide Charlotte delivered a lovely sea eagle and Trollfjord tour. A beautiful sunny fall day made it a 10/10. We saw lots of sea eagles and had a scenic ride up the Troll’s fjord. Would definitely recommend this tour!

• Good, but very touristy

  an eagle ride in rib boat, nice, the suit that is loaned is hot and waterproof, it's good. we see the eagles up close, we even saw a porpoise. on the other hand the route is common to several companies that leave at the same time, result the Trollfjord and the return were with 6-8 rib boats around, not very nice. Phased departures for the various airlines would probably be more pleasant.
