We collect our guests at their accommodation free of charge, in Swakopmund and along the coast to Walvisbay. All other companies want you to use or find your own transport to Walvisbay. We include a light lunch and drinks.
We use new modern unsinkable Kayaks easy for anybody to use and that do not capsize. Everybody gets a life jacket and the guide will coach you on the use of the Kayak. No previous experience required.
Its a must do for the active traveler. Should a group want to Kayak at another place that's also possible, contact us and lets see if its possible.

Should you be a big group talk to us and we will reduce the price. More than 6 pax and we can discount the price for everybody
Please note German guides are limited and we do not have the capacity to give everyone a German guide, These will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please note we can not guarantee a German guide on every tour!!
please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

Our tour starts In Swakopmund and we pick up in Walvisbay too. We stop at the Flamingos and view the many beautiful birds at the Lagune.. We might see Pelicans and terns. The route takes us past the pink salt lakes of the huge Salt Mine and we learn how it works. We then turn north to Pelican point ;light house where the 50 000 seals colony is. We find a suitable spot to unload the Kayaks and then peddle into the the Bay. The seals swim around the Kayaks, what an awesome experience. We serve some cool drinks and sandwiches once we are done . Then everybody helps to load the Kayaks and we slowly go back to Swakopmund.

5.00We had an amazing time with our tour guide Stephan. He has enormous knowledge about nature and a fantastic sarcastic sense of humour, so be prepared 😉. The kayaking with the seals was refreshing and a unique opportunity to get really close to the animals. We even saw whales breaching, which made the experience extra special. A must-do when you're in Swakopmund or Walvis Bay!

5.00The experience was brilliant, so much more close up and hands on that other boat tours. It does not require any experience and cares to all levels. Stephan our guide went above and beyond, he was very knowledgeable about not only the seals and pelican point, but also the local areas and really went above and beyond.

5.00Very luckily I had Stephan as my tour guide! He knows a lot of things about Namibia and shares them readily. Stephan is also very experienced, knows exactly what to do and avoids taking unnecessary risks. Additionally he also has a very good sense of humor, adding to the tour even more fun. The tour itself is very nicely scheduled, no rush, enough time to enjoy the kayaking with the seals, eat a breakfastand, enjoy some beverages and also make on the way a few stops for photos, where allowed. Stephan also stopped for photos and explaining interesting things we saw on the way, like a whale bone on the shore. The tour is suited for adventurous people as well as nature lovers who want a genuine experience and close encounter with seals. Petting or touching the seals should not be done though, they are still wild animals! Waterproof/splashproof clothing was provided by Stephan, nevertheless it's adviseable to bring a second set of clothes along as some mischievous seas love splashing around and making people wet. Thank you very much for the great tour, Stephan! 👏👍 Unfortunately, i have only videos of the seals on my camera, so I can't upload them. But perfect shots are guaranteed on this tour with Stephan 😉

5.00Had a great time doing the seal kayaking! Our guide Volker was very knowledgeable about the area, the animals, and Namibia in general, we really enjoyed having him do the tour with us. The seals were cute and we got to see thousands of their new baby pups since we did it in January which was super fun! We would definitely this tour to anyone else staying in Swakopmund or Walvis Bay. It is very nice not having to drive on the sand since you need to deflate and then reinflate your tires afterwards plus it looks hard to drive on generally. I would also recommend the sandwich harbor tour combined package, we just did that as part of another tour with the same company the day prior

5.00I had a great experience, our guide LeClue was exceptional, on the drive to Pelican Point, he gave us a glimpse into the culture and the history of Namibia. We got to see so much more, the flamingos, the salts and learnt a lot about Seals. I enjoyed the tour so very much, will definitely be back for more!!! Thank you very much ❤️

5.00In our minds, this was as good as it gets, and we have had dozens of guides and private tours around the globe. Stephan had a near encyclopedic knowledge of Namibia, of the seals, the salt flats, flamingos and Namibian culture making this one of the best trips of our African journey. We paddle among the playful seals, bent down to see the slivers of diamonds in the sand, and marveled at the salt flats from atop small dunes. And he even packed a spread of breakfast/lunch foods and ice cold beverages. We don't leave reviews to be the good guys. We hope this helps you select someone reputable for your day in this fantastic country. Half day tour. Excellent company and excellent guide. Wear a broad hat, too!

5.00Very nice morning with our guide LeClue. Pick up in the morning at the hotel and return in the early afternoon. LeClue shared a lot of interesting info throughout the outing, I recommend!
