Beat the crowds and enjoy a more personal whale watching experience aboard our comfortable, small-group vessel, designed for up to 10 passengers. With fewer guests onboard, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views, personalized attention, and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the tour.

Our boat is conveniently located in an in-water slip, allowing for fast, efficient check-in and quick departure—maximizing your time on the ocean during the Pacific humpback whale migration season. Once on the water, our experienced crew will guide you to prime viewing areas along the Kona Coast.

When conditions allow, we stop to observe the whales and deploy an underwater hydrophone, giving you the rare opportunity to listen to the haunting and beautiful songs of the humpback whales. This immersive experience offers a deeper connection to these magnificent animals and makes each trip truly unforgettable.

As the sun’s golden rays kiss the waves, you find yourself surrounded by the exhilarating energy of humpback whales, breaching, tail-slapping, and communing with their watery world. Our Whale Watch Charters are not just a boat ride; they are a front-row ticket to nature’s most majestic show. Picture the sheer awe as you witness these colossal creatures leap from the water, their enormity contrasting against the vast blue canvas. Every breach, every playful gesture, and every song sung through the ocean depths becomes an intimate connection with these gentle giants. You will learn the intricate details of humpback whale behavior, and their migratory patterns. Our Boat Maximum – 10 passengers, and has a tour minimum of 4 guests. While this typically does not occur, there are occasions where we have to reschedule and we will work to rebook you during your stay.

We had a beautiful morning whale watching with Brian. His boat is comfortable and we got to experience the incredible humpbacks at see. He drops a device in the water so that you can hear them calling and that was so neat to hear! I would definitely recommend this whale watching tour to family and friends!

We are so thankful the whales were still in the area. They stayed around our group for some time and they put on a fantastic show. The dolphins started with us when we were shortly out of the harbor. Our guide and his crew were very knowledgeable, friendly and funny.

Amazing experience! We saw so many dolphins and whales. The crew was so knowledgeable, teaching us a ton about the whales and dolphins as well as answering all our questions. Can’t recommend enough!

Awesome way to avoid huge groups. A small, intimate tour with a knowledgeable guide. Saw whales and dolphins, had snacks, tons of fun.

It was the best day of my life! Captain Brian and Jan were just amazing. They have so much knowledge and great tips and tricks. We saw so many whales, at least eight different ones including a mom and calf. Even if we hadn’t seen the whales it would have been worth it just hearing them sing. It was transformative. Jan made amazing turkey sandwiches (which I didn’t know was possible!) BEST DAY EVER!

Captain Brian took us out Saturday Feb 1 for a funtastik whale watch with plenty of whales. The seas were a bit choppy with some wind left over from the storm. The large rigid inflatable boat with such comfortable forward seating makes for a great ride even when the seas are up.We had a hydrophone to listen to whale songs, moanings and mutterings which adds such a dimension to the whole experience!I’ll be out for several more charters this season. I just cannot get enough!

Great day on the water with Capt Brian and his crew. Personal, small group experience is superior to larger boats packed with tons of other guests. Highly recommend.
