During this trip, I want you to discover the authentic Provence off the beaten path. We'll start this day by a real journey to the past.

After the death of Jesus, Mary Magdalene's moved to Provence and spent her last 33 years in the grotto in the Sainte Baume massif. The place is very inspiring. You'll walk there on your own, at your own pace, and you'll have enough time to pray or meditate.

Then, I'll offer you a local sandwich & a glass of rosé from my village. We'll reach Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, a small coloured Provencal town : free time for shopping, ice creams, coffee and visit of Mary Magdalene basilica where her skull is preserved.

We'll finish the day by a drive through the beautiful Sainte Victoire valley. If we have time, you can have a walk through the vines fields, visit a small, authentic village or taste local wines.

Whether you are a pilgrim or simply fascinated by the incredible story of Mary Magdalene, I look forward to welcoming you for this mystical day!

You will hike through the mystic forest till the grotto where lived Mary Magdalene for her last 30 years. Amazing view of Provence and even Alps! Amazing atmosphere there..very inspiring place. Don't forget good shoes.

Nice, authentic little Provencal city where you will stroll, do some shopping, have a lunch and visit the very old basilica where you can even find Mary Magdalene's skull!

A very special tour through sacred forest and to the grotto of St Mary Magdalene. Tom made this a super day. An awesome friendly guide. And with a lovely tasting of local produce and wine. superb!

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! If you feel called to see the countryside of Provence, and are curious about the real story of Mary Magdalene then Tom is your guide. He is a conscious and beautiful soul, and can tailor to your spiritual needs and interests. It was a magical day filled with serendipity as we peacefully moved through the mountains, vineyards, and cathedrals to find the places not typically in your tourist guide. Thank you Tom! I can’t wait to come back already. You’re the best!!! Bisous!!

A truly incredible experience! Our driver Tom was amazing & customized the trip to accommodate our wishes (and the weather)! The hike to the grotto is not an easy one, but the view there and the experience was completely worth the effort. We were never rushed & allowed to take in the sights and truly feel the emotions of the hike at our pace, which was great. If you’re looking for a French experience that is definitely off the beaten path, I highly recommend!

It was a great experience. Tom is really nice and kind. His conversation is good, tells you about the places you'll visit and that makes the drives, very good ones. In my case, I was centered in the experiences of the grotto and St. Maximin's Basilica. We went at my pace, no rushes and made the experience a great one. I'll say mi trip was more on the spiritual side and I felt very comfortable and had Tom's help. It's an experience I'll definitely recommend.

Tom was an amazing tour guide. Although we didn't get to do the full tour, he was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. I really enjoyed our time. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to book him again one day. :)
