Our 1 hour Cowboy Trail ride, and the 1.5 hour Cowboy Trail ride hour are the rootinest, tootinest horseback rides in Sedona. You'll be riding through the hills and valleys of Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Sedona. Our experienced wranglers will keep you safe while sharing the history of the land and surrounding area. You'll get to cross the river, take in the spectacular sightings of Tuzigoot Monument, and enjoy panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, it was a fun experience! We especially enjoyed the tour through the Verde River and Tugizoot ruins.

The experience itself was great. My girlfriend however was put on a horse that did not fit her, and they kept having to adjust the stirrups. Her knees and legs were very sore after and it was nearly a 2 hour ride. The ride itself was great and you get to cross through a river as advertised. Cowboys were knowledgeable of the area and gave you facts about the area. They also would take pictures of you at any point.

This experience was fun for both children and parents. The instructors were professional, kind and clear. The horses were beautiful and the ride had great scenery and the right amount of adventure for beginners.
