Acueduct of Segovia
The Aqueduct of Segovia is a Roman aqueduct that carried water to the Spanish city of Segovia until 1973.1 Its construction dates from the early second century AD. The most visible, and therefore famous, part of the aqueduct is the arcade that crosses the Azoguejo square.

The Alcázar of Segovia, dating from the early 13th century, is one of the most famous medieval castles in the world and one of the most visited monuments in Spain. Twenty-two kings have passed through its rooms, as well as some of the most prominent figures in history.

5.00I did a day trip to Segovia with some friends, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our time in Spain. Everything was so well organized from start to finish, which made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Our guide, Monica, was absolutely incredible. She has such a natural way of explaining the history that makes everything come alive without it ever feeling boring or overwhelming. You can really feel her passion, and she made the entire day both fun and meaningful. Segovia itself is stunning — the aqueduct, the Alcázar, the charming streets… it felt like stepping into a fairytale. Monica made sure we didn’t just “see” the city, but actually experience it, sharing little details and stories we would have completely missed on our own. It was the perfect balance between guided and relaxed, with enough time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid. If you get Monica as your guide, you’re in the best hands — she truly makes the experience special.
