  We have been traveling as a family in Strasburg and have completely rediscovered the city. The tour takes you to unknown corners, tells funny and interesting details and the tasks motivate you to continue. Highly recommended and the souvenirs in the backpack fit the overall experience.

  Once we got it working, it was a good amount of information and an easy to follow tour. However, I had to reach out to get information about how to download and use the app, that wasn’t readily accessible. Most of the treats were cute as well.

  An experience that allows you to visit Strasbourg from a different angle, at your own pace, at your leisure. A mix of puzzles and anecdotes about the city very pleasant. We thought we had one bag per person but in reality only one bag is distributed per group: we had to share the surprises😞

  Easy to navigate and good information. Back pack is nice touch. Wish we could have spent more time in the city but were on a quick connection to Paris

  Strasbourg is a place to visit in summer, with beautiful scenary n wonderful history. A must visit to Colmar as well and lots of French n Germany history

  This was such a great tour! Strasbourg is such a beautiful city and the Hopla Guide tour was perfect for allowing us to discover it at our own pace. Best money you’ll spend!

  Exciting and entertaining city tour. The ideal format if you like to travel independently and want to find out about the essentials quickly without having to read long travel guides. The built-in puzzles and audios also make it attractive for children and young people to wander through the city and find out more.

  The reviews we read about this audio walking tour were very accurate - it is a great tour and extremely well organized. We picked up the backup that came with the tour package at the tourism office across from the cathedral. Having locally produced gifts to open up during the tour added a special touch to an already impressive tour. The level of information provided in the tour was well crafted and we felt we walked away with a much better understanding of the history of the city. One thing I would advise is starting out as early as you can. We picked up the tour backpack at 9 am when the tourism office opened. At that point in time there were only a few people in the square around the cathedral. Within an hour the same area was packed with people and got progessively crowded as the day went on. By the way we did one of the Batorama boat tours later in the day and it covered similar information to the audio tour but not as well. It was actually a very boring tour and not worth the money. Stick with the walking tour.

  Informative, well laid out walk, nice little gifts relevant to the region and great instructions from the organisers. We learnt a lot about the town and appreciated the sites more than we would have without the detail, maps and app. Highly recommend and a better alternative to the free walks available which lack focus, information and personal touch.
