This tour is semi-private, no more than 20 guests are accepted.
We are proud that our excursion supports a natural environment aquatic observatory, and attributes zero harm to the already fragile underwater ecosystem. Our tour departs from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal and cruises the historic Nassau Harbor with commentary about the island’s past, fame, and present. The tour then cruises westward in route to the sea garden to view the coral reef and local marine life.

All aboard Cay Island Tours! Something nautical and newfangled now navigates Nassau’s harbor, above the coral reef and when the seas allow, over an old shipwreck! We are talking about a seacraft that looks like a UFO (unidentifiable floating object) with its sleek, semi-submersive design and 10-by-7-foot-monocular view. The vessels are European-crafted 37’ Lookers, are not just glass-bottom boats; guests get an underwater view with a fish-eyed monocular. The boat’s build includes the innovative underwater fin; a curved winglike surface that is designed to lift a boat in motion, by means of reaction upon its surface from the water through which it moves – this is called a hydrofoil. We are proud to announce that this product is eco-conscious. Our guests view the delicate marine life without caging, catching, or contact, which allows the biodiversity of the reef to thrive as it was naturally intended to.

3.00Captain Turbo and Tory did a great job but the trip is lacklustre. First might I suggest that they clean the glass bottom!! Quite dirty so viewing was a challenge. The sites chosen for glass bottom viewing are mediocre. A not very exciting shipwreck and a brief time around a man made harbour break wall. It was nice to be out on the water and the highlight was feeding the fish some bread. As I said the staff were good and the day was beautiful. Can’t say I recommend it.
Hydro planing is so fun!

5.00Soo fun! Captain Turbo and Captain Jay were fantastic! Full of energy and knowledge. There is nothing more we could have wanted. The admission fee was well worth the duration and the sights we saw. The boat was safe and fun! Great music and snacks aboard. I would definitely recommend.

5.00We just got back from our glass bottom boat excursion and it was an absolutely amazing adventure! Even on a windy day with choppy water (to put it gently) every minute with Captain Turbo and Tory was fun and they had a ton of interesting information to share. Be sure to add a bag of flaming hot cheetos to your bag for the excursion along with your camera, you'll be glad you did!
A fun and educational way to see Nassau from a different point of view.

5.00Captain Turbo and Tory were our guides and gave us such a memorable experience. From great music to commentary, we had such a great time. They both know so much and were eager to pass on their knowledge about the Bahamas. We snorkeled for a while over a reef and then got to dock near a beautiful beach and swim/snorkel more. They also showed us around the harbor more on our way back. Snacks and drinks were provided.

5.00Capt. Jay and Tori were awesome. They made our tour memorable. They were knowledgeable and made our tour fun. They showed us some of the historic sites in the Bahamas.
Occlusion 1 is the way to go!

5.00We did the glass bottom boat and snorkeling excursion with our family of 5 (3 kids ages 11,12 and 14) and 10/10 highly recommend! What sets Cay Island Tours apart is the captain and staff- truly magnificent, energetic and knowledgeable people! Captain Turbo and Jay were both just a joy and made the trip so much fun. If you’re in Nassau, do yourself a favor and book the excursion!

5.00Captain Turbo was a wonderful boat driver. The view and the tour experience were awesome. He put the boat in super speed, raising the front off the water. This was awesome. The first mate was great with the island's history and the harbor. The reef was quiet that day, but the boat ride was great. My children were even allowed to drive the boat for a few minutes.
