You will start the experience with the visit of an historic wine cellar in Manarola which has been preserved through the years. Then, you will reach the Tasting Room with an AIS professional sommelier who will guide you in this sensory experience. You'll taste 3 local wines using all the senses.

Enjoy three half glasses of Cinque Terre white wine from different cellars, using the sense of sight, the sense of smell and the sense of taste. Darkness and music will touch your emotional strings, providing an indispensable contribution to a complete sensory experience. Ligurian focaccia and taggiasche olives will accompany those three wines. The tasting will be followed by a light walk on a beautiful path with view on the vineyards and will end at a panoramic spot of Manarola. Your sommelier (and tour guide) will take you to discover this land through its wines history, and to see it in a different way afterwards. The tour will be guided by an English or Italian speaking AIS professional sommelier.

The wines were delicious. We also got to tour the vineyard after the tasting. The vineyard gives a beautiful view of the town.

I highly recommend this wine tasting. It was very educational about the history of the local mine making without being boring. Started on time and ended with a walk to further discuss the vineyards.

Yvonne was knowledgeable but we did not try enough of the wine. Focaccia was very tasty. We did not know there was a walking trip up the hill and then left on hill to return…in comparison this experience came in last 😳🇮🇹

Yvonne was very knowledgeable. You can tell she loves the land and wants to share her heritage and all about the wine making industry and process here. We enjoyed our tasting and tour very much!

The wine tasting and its amazing host were incredible. Yvonne can trace her family roots back over 300 years in the area and is a true master of wine. A true experience to find out about the wines and the people of this small area of Italy Cinque Terre. The walk amongst the vineyards was fantastic and I would tell anyone who is a wine lover and wants to try something different to give this a go.

This wine course was very informational and Evelyn was very gracious, kind and extremely knowledgeable about a Cinque Terre wines. We tasted 3 different wines and visited a great old wine cellar. She grew up in the area and you could tell that she was proud of her heritage. One thing I will say is that i’m Not sure why it was called “sensory” course. But, we had lots of fun.
