The wonderful experience of a hot-air balloon ride is enhanced many times over by conducting it over the incredible scenery and wildlife of Serengeti National Park. We fly from June to November in Kogatende. For a lifetime experience such as this, you want to make sure you fly with the best. Since the 1970s, we’ve been crafting exceptional balloon safaris and the memories we create are a combination of our long experience, our attention to detail and our desire to make your flight with us truly extraordinary. Each flight is a different journey dictated by the direction of the wind, where the sights and sounds rise from the ground to meet you. We know where we’ve started but we don’t know where we will return to earth. This is part of the adventure. Sometimes the basket will be gently brushing the tips of the grass and sometimes it will be climbing, climbing through the layers of air until you’re high enough to see the curve of the horizon, painted gold and pink by the early sun. Each flight lasts for approximately 1 hour and we celebrate with a champagne toast before enjoying a sumptuous 'full-english' breakfast under an acacia tree.

5.00The experience with Serengeti Balloon Safari was fabulous! We had a wonderful time floating above the Serengeti. The team was top notch at every step - from the driver who picked us up at the crack of dawn, to the team setting up the balloon, a fabulous, interesting, experienced pilot and a spectacular champagne brunch upon landing. We each received a personalized certificate and wonderful photos of our experience. Not a detail missed and everything was included in our upfront fee.

5.00I had an incredible experience. A sunrise flight over the Seringetii looking at the animals below. Wow! The pilot, Geert, with 27 years of experience expertly took off and landed. I highly recommend.

5.00We loved every minute of the Serengeti balloon breakfast experience! We were transported very early (4:15am) to the launch site but it was worth seeing the sunrise in the balloon! Our driver was prompt and a careful driver in the dark of the morning through the bush. The staff provided clear safety instruction. Our pilot turned the balloon so everyone had equal viewing. We saw many see room wildebeest. We were picked up easily by our drivers and had a champagne toast. Then we drove on to a beautiful served breakfast. Outstanding experience. Highly recommend.

5.00It was our first safari and we had a blast. Jonathan and the crew was super helpful and made everyone comfortable. It was surreal to see the animals and vastness of Serengeti from the above. Post safari, we also enjoyed breakfast in the bush. I would highly recommend Serengeti Balloon to everyone.

5.00What a fantastic experience! Absolutely a must-do. Coffee and bathrooms ("loo with a view" LOL!) available when we got there in the wee hours of the morning. The entire experience: from watching the balloons getting prepped, excellent instructions, getting into the basket (entertaining! Tbh, if you have physical issues could be a bit challenging), and such a beautifully calm and serene trip in the balloon, seeing the animals (zebras, giraffe, hippos, hyenas!) from such a unique angle to a soft landing, champagne at the end of the trip and breakfast on the Serengeti. Truly a very special part of our trip. Thank you!
