Join us to discover the best secret places in Minho.
This is how we do it:
1 – Pick-up at the arranged location
We’ll pick you up anywhere, in the city of Viana do Castelo, and drive you to Serra D’Arga where all the adventure starts.
2 – Dive in a secret lagoon
The trek will take you to discover a secret waterfall and lagoon – a true hidden gem of Viana do Castelo. Here, you’ll have time for a refreshing dive in its pure waters.
3 – Time to taste the best traditional food
Hard to find, harder to leave. We will take you to a super traditional “Portuguese tapas” restaurant in the middle of the mountain. A fantastic place to go if you want to try real authentic Portuguese cuisine.

5.00Incredible landscape. Fresh air and everything very clean. Green as the predominant color. It was possible to see some animals in their habitat. Idyllic waterfalls and crystal clear waters. Very welcoming places.

5.00I love this experience with Portugal Active. The guide, Jorge, is a very friendly and helpful guy. I loved all the scenery and the waterfalls. The meal, included, at the end of the activity was wonderful, it highlighted the welcoming spirit of the population of Viana do Castelo

5.00We took this trip with Jorge one afternoon in May. Communication from the company was great from the start (we had booked months ago) and we adjusted timings to best suit availability and our schedule. The trip itself was great - beautiful scenery in a river valley with multiple waterfalls. The hike is fun, there are some tricky sections but Jorge was able to guide us over them without too much trouble. Given it was May, the water in the pools was still quite cool, but we still stopped for a quick swim under the final waterfall - refreshing! After hiking back out of the valley, we stopped for some fantastic local small-dish food in a village, including lots of things we wouldn't normally have tried. Everything was great! All in all, a great afternoon out, with a great guide. Highly recommended.

5.00I had a wonderful time trekking. The waterfalls were amazing, and the local food tasting at the end was "WOW". I highly recommend this trek to anyone looking for an adventure filled with nature and delicious food!

5.00The trail was challenging in some parts, but the stunning views along the way made it totally worth it. The terrain varied from dense forests to crystal-clear streams and even a big waterfall. The landscapes were breathtaking and provided a welcome relief after a stressful week. Thank you Portugal Active!!!

5.00The waterfall was incredible and great craic for swimming . The guides were fabulous and from start to finish was a fantastic experience . The local restraunt served delicious local food and was lile nothing we'd ever had. Overall was a great day out and would highly recommend . Fantastic
