Spend an exciting day on the water with this 3-hour guided kayak tour of the Sesimbra coast. You will be amazed with the Cliffs, caves and tunnels that characterize Sesimbra's Natural Park. You will reach and stop at one of the most beautifull beaches in Portugal, Ribeira do Cavalo.
A professional kayak guide will provide all the necessary gear before leading you on a gorgeous tour.
We can pick you up in Lisbon centre and cross the Tagus River and the 25th of April bridge, we will take you to Sesimbra where you will kayak along the coast of Arrabida Nature Park and learn about the natural geology of the Luiz de Saldanha Maritime Reserve. If you find it easier to come by yourself, you will meet us on our Kayak and Outdoor Centre in Sesimbra's harbour. You’ll kayak a total distance of between 6-10 kilometers full of beauty and nature sightseeing!

We can arrange you the pick up from Lisbon or you can meet us at our Kayak and Outdoor Centre in Sesimbra. We will head to this beautiful fishing village, across the harbour and reach Arrabida Natural Park kayaking, a gorgeous coast full of cliffs and caves to explore, we will reach one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, Ribeira do Cavalo and might go even further to the next unique and desert beaches with crystal clear blue water.

Nice tour to experience outdoors in Portugal

4.00The staff were lovely. We were driven out to Sesimbra by Raquel, who was so welcoming and we loved talking about Portugal and our experiences with her. The kayaks and equipment were great. There could be some improvement in communication. We all just stood there for a while upon arrival. It would be nice to have a briefing with some basic guidelines/expectations, such as 'Pedro's tour has about 15 minutes to use the bathroom and get snacks--our van will depart at 14:00, etc..." Most of the time I had more time than I thought and didn't need to rush around and panic looking for my group. The bathroom (just ome single a piece for M/W) were pretty lacking. I'd encourage people to come in their swim suits rather than change there. And definitely carry your own bathroom tissue. The route was nice, about four miles (for my fellow US travelers) or so roundtrip. The water was calm and a very pretty color. I am in okay shape-not great- and I made it okay. It would also be nice to have a few more small breaks to stop and look at the fish along the way. The beach was nice. The tour guide carries a 2L water bottle and will give you a cup or two plus a small granola bar type snack. If you didn't have a decent breakfast, you should probably buy or bring lunch yourself as it was a small amount. A nice way to experience some of coastal Portugal. We left at 845 and we're back by 245 pm.

5.00First time kayaking and they were amazing to us. Highly, highly recommend. Got to go through a couple caves and a rest on the beach. Found it hard, but rewarding.

5.00Absolutely worth the trip! Naiara and Lucas were really nice and Naiara was a terrific guide. The cliffs that we kayaked past were stunning! If you are up for a strenuous paddle (waves were half a meter the day we went), this is for you.
