This tour takes you through the Shakers building itself—an experience set entirely within one of Milwaukee’s most storied and unsettling spaces.
Inside a preserved 1894 structure in Walker’s Point, the building carries a past that doesn’t sit quietly. Once a cooperage, later a Prohibition-era speakeasy and brothel tied to the Capone brothers, it has long been a place where things happened behind closed doors—and didn’t always stay there.
Guests move through the space room by room, where stories surface in layers—whispers of what was, and what may still be. Men have met untimely fates here. Deals were made, secrets kept, and some things were never meant to be found.
Just the space, the stories, and the feeling that not everything has left.
Led by experienced guides, this is not simply a ghost tour—it’s an immersion into a place where history lingers, and where the night has a way of holding onto you a little longer than expected.

Voted one of the FIVE most haunted bars in the entire nation, Shaker's Original Ghost Tour lets you take an uneasy glimpse into the establishment's sordid past. This tour takes you through every floor of your historical establishment - your main floor, the cellar basement, and the two upper floors. Once home to a cemetery, speakeasy, and brothel, Shaker's walls DO talk - and the tales they tell aren't always pretty. - 60 minutes. Indoors. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the tour starts.

5.00A fun, colorful tour of the infamous Shakers Cigar Bar and it's history. As a easy walking tour, you get to see where sightings regularly occure and the stories behind them. The tour guide made the experience fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

5.00The guided tour is limited to the Shaker’s Bar property, including all floors of the building and basement. The history, artifacts, and stories of hauntings are truly fascinating, though I did not personally witness any paranormal activity during my visit. Our guide, Joe, was awesome - very welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun! Overall, this tour was a lot of fun and learning the history of this Milwaukee gem was very exciting.

5.00Elizabeth was our guide. She was fun and knowledgeable . Food and drink was wonderful. Loved Nina our server and the man at the cigar bar. God I wish I could remember his name but he gave me a very special book of matches. Thanks for that again . I will be back for the other tours.
