Our guide gave a tour of the globe theatre and included the history of the globe and shakespear. Mick our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. It was a perfect tour especially since we had a play to attend at the theatre later that day. I highly recommend it!

Jeremy was very knowledgeable and kept our attention with his Shakespearean verses and interpretations. Even my husband who isn't much into Shakespeare enjoyed the tour.

Really looking forward to this tour and excited to be on it unfortunately a play was in rehearsal so the tour was short and we only went into the balcony it lasted 30 mins tops so I thought it a bit expensive for what I got. Then for some unknown reason the tour guide kept making up tenuous links between Shakespeare and immigrants it seemed like he couldn't tell us anything about Shakespeare and the globe unless it involved a foreigner. Do a bit of your own research save your money on the tour and go and see a play you will see as much of the theatre as I did and you won't have to listen to some made up cobblers about the worlds most famous playwright

Amazing Premium Globe Theatre Tour with Callum and Michael! This was the first time my son and I have been to the Globe and we were delighted by this tour. We were hoping to learn about the history of the Globe and its’ historical context and Callum was incredibly knowledgeable. My son is doing GCSE history and it was wonderful to get such an in depth tour to help him with this part of the syllabus. I found the details of construction of the building and costumes particularly fascinating. My son enjoyed learning that the Elizabethan audience were most probably carrying swords on their person when watching the performances.

We visited the Globe on a Sunday morning in January and the experience was great. The booking process is easy and upon arriving at the site, the staff members were kind to show us where to go. Llyr was our guide who shared with us many interesting details in such a delightful way. I myself used to work as a guide and know what it takes to cheer up a crowd even if it rains. His funny comments made the time fly so fast and we all finished the tour wanting to come back. Definitely recommend taking the guided tour even if you're not a native speaker of English as listening to these guides is a genuine language practice opportunity. Thank you all.

I've taken the Globe tour multiple times now. Besides it being a well organised tour with good audio and great guides this tour is just a highlight. If you are in any way interested in Shakespeare, London or theatre history this is not to miss. I personally also feel like it has a great value when it comes to revisits as every guide has a slightly different focus and vibe so there's always something new to learn.

I had the pleasure of being guided by Llyr, who had an incredible way of explaining Shakespeare’s work and how people experienced plays at that time. It was a wonderful experience.

Our tour guide was called Clive. He was really excellent. He had a great sense of humour and was very informative too. He kept all our attention with his lively information and anecdotes. A one hour Visit, which was really worth the money, thank you Clive for really making this tour so good.
