Morning in Baku. The guests are met by a guide around the country – a representative of the tour operator Azerbaijan Travel International and everyone sets off on a comfortable bus, first passing through the whole city. There are 250 kilometers ahead, and guests will have several halts, stops with excursions and lunch.
Juma Mosque
10:45 Shamakhi city is the ancient capital of the medieval state of Shirvan. In this city, one of the centers of Azerbaijani poetry and viticulture, guests will have an excursion to the Juma Mosque. Guests will find themselves in the walls of a grandiose architectural structure made according to ancient antiseismic technology. A visit to the first Muslim temple in the Caucasus, built in 743, will introduce tourists to the history of Islam in Azerbaijan and the history of the mosque itself. After that, they will go further along the road that stretches like a ribbon along the Mugan mountain Pass, classic for the Greater Caucasus, and leads to the northwest of Azerbaijan to Ismayilli.

5.00قمنا بحجز جولة شماخي – غابالا مع مكتبكم وكانت تجربة رائعة جداً. أهم ما ميّز الرحلة كانت المرشدة السياحية “ناز”، حيث كانت على قدرٍ عالٍ من المعرفة، وشرحت لنا التاريخ والقصص وراء كل مكان قمنا بزيارته بطريقة ممتعة وواضحة. كما زودتنا بمعلومات قيّمة عن أذربيجان بشكل عام، وقدّمت لنا نصائح مفيدة حول أفضل المشتريات والهدايا المناسبة. سافرنا برفقة طفلنا البالغ من العمر 3 سنوات، وكانت في غاية اللطف والاهتمام به وبنا طوال الرحلة. كذلك قامت قبل يوم من الجولة بإرسال جميع التفاصيل اللوجستية بدقة، وتابعت معنا حتى وقت الاستقبال. أما الملاحظة الوحيدة فكانت أن الحافلة الصغيرة لم تكن مجهزة بالشكل الكافي لظروف الطقس، حيث لم يتمكن السائق من الصعود إلى الجبل بسبب الثلوج لعدم توفر سلاسل للعجلات، مما اضطرنا للنزول مجدداً وأخذ التلفريك من موقع مختلف عن المخطط له. ومع ذلك، سارت الأمور بشكل جيد في النهاية نشكر لكم حسن التنظيم والترتيب، وكانت تجربة مميزة بالفعل، وبكل تأكيد سنوصي بكم لأصدقائنا We took the Shamakhi–Gabala tour with your company, and it was a wonderful experience. The most important part was our tour guide, Nas — she was extremely informative and explained the history and stories behind every place we visited. She also shared a lot of useful information about Azerbaijan in general and advised us on what to purchase and the best gifts to take home. We traveled with our 3-year-old child, and she was very kind and caring with him and with us throughout the trip. The day before the tour, she sent all the logistics details clearly and accurately, and she followed up with us until the pickup. Thank you for the excellent arrangements. We truly enjoyed the experience and will definitely recommend you to our friends. Bad: the only downside that the minibus was not well prepared for the weather and if failed to go up the mountain because of the snow on the street, the driver didn’t bring a chain for the wheels and we end up going down again and took the cable car from a different location that what was planned but all went well at the end.

5.00On 31 January, I visited the Shamakha Gabala excursion. The tour took place in a Russian-speaking mini-group of no more than 10 people. We were accompanied by guide Oguz. The guide did a great job, very interesting talking, uniting our group, answering all questions, at the same time not overloaded with information. They booked a tour of the Old Town office with Catherine's manager. She answered all my detailed questions very patiently, told me everything honestly and helped me decide on the direction of the trip. And also helped me decide on my personal expenses budget during the tour, which was important to me, because after the trip in the early morning we would come home and I didn't want to take off any extra manats. The tour went wonderfully, we met the time limit, everything was examined at a calm, comfortable pace. The entire team in the person of Catherine, Oguz and the driver left very pleasant impressions and generally I want to note that the residents of Baku are very friendly and hospitable. I'll recommend ati travel to my friends.

Even if the tour is not included in Turkish, it explains and explains one without distinction, even if you don’t ask, it enrichs the tour with informative fun facts. With friendly, humoral humor, the tour is unique. Highly Recommendation, a Guide should be just like that.
