This half-day private tour can be started either in the morning or afternoon, and all entrance fee, private guide and transfer service are inclusive. You also can upgrade your tour with lunch or dinner to experience the local cuisine upon booking.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town

Meet up your friendly private guide at your hotel lobby in the morning or afternoon based on your preferred schedule. Transferred by comfortable vehicle to Zhujiajiao, a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Upon arrival, stroll along the old street and traditional market where you will find many interesting vendors and local specialties. You will also find the best known bridges, built during Ming and Qing Dynasties. Take a relaxing boat ride in the water canals, and your friendly private guide will share with you the history and story of the area. After the tour, your guide will send you back to the hotel in Shanghai city.

Had a wonderful trip to ZhuJiaJiao led by Kalvin our guide. He is very knowledgeable and eloquent in his presentation. He does not rush you for time by let us enjoy the trip in a very leisure pace. Also wanted to comment on the driver Ma Shifu who gave us a very comfortable and steady ride in and out of town. Totally enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend Kalvin and team. Cheers.

I had an excellent experience on the Zhujiajiao Water Town and Boat Ride Private Tour in Shanghai with our guide, Kalvin. He was patient and very accommodating, ensuring we had time for photos, on-site shopping, and sampling local teas and snacks. I also did a very unique ear cleaning experience, which was fascinating! Kalvin’s knowledge and attention to detail made the day smooth and enjoyable.
