Nagasaki Peace Park

In Nagasaki Peace Park there is a statue symbolizes the love of God and the mercy of Buddha, wishing for the spirit of the atomic bomb victims and eternal peace. It said that the right hand pointing to heaven, and the left hand shows "peace" (for the future of Nagasaki). The face is neither a god nor a Buddha but a lightly closed eyes and quietly praying over the religion over the relief of the souls of the war victims of 70,000 abundant war victims.

Interesting to travel with a tram in Nagasaki. Peace museum was a touching and memorable experience. We had a problem finding our guide in the beginning as the google maps coordinates were inaccurate.

It is packed, we first went to atomic bomb museum and peace park, and then double glasses bridge,which is near old commercial street,the last stop is the Glover park,which is overlooking the harbor with breathtaking view. The special thanks to our guide Ms Kaoru, who knows the history, and full of knowledge,best of all,she is very nice ,taking care of everyone in the group. Thank you for her excellent job.

We visited the atomic bomb museum, hypocenter, and peace park. Or guide was very nice and made sure to show and tell us things we might have missed if we traveled alone. The tram ride to the different areas was nice at first, but it did get very crowded and hot throughout the tour. Visiting the atomic bomb museum was very emotional so be prepared.
