  It was excellent! A life highlight! The food was awesome, the ships team was fantastic and the stops and sights were amazing! It felt like a big bonus that our guide took all these photos and drone shots for us! Our main guide was so lovely and really took care of us. The crew was just great 😊

• Boat was NOT a deluxe boat...

  The other guests on the boat were great to be with and the crew worked hard taking us to the snorkeling locations and the islands, but we paid for the 'deluxe' boat and nothing about the boat was deluxe. We saw cockroaches running around the dining room and the floor in our bedroom, the bathroom floor had a ring of black mold around it and the toilet was broken and the edges were razor sharp, the engine broke down one day and the smaller boat had to be used to push the boat away from the rocks we were drifting into, we had to be towed for almost 2 hours until the crew was able to get the engine started, the engine wasn't running strong enough and we never made it to Komodo Island, all the cushions in the seating areas were well worn, and the crew did not have their own quarters and had to sleep in the dining room. Definitely not worth the money to upgrade to the 'deluxe' boat!

  Our liveaboard Komodo National Park experience with Amaze Vacations was the highlight of our time in Indonesia. We appreciated the clear communication while we were booking, preparing for our trip leading up to our departure date, and especially during pick up and drop off which included a ride to the airport to catch our flight to Java. On the trip itself we visited all of the best that Komodo has to offer including: several snorkel spots with lively coral and schools of fish, the famous pink beach (complete with drone photos and videos!), the stunning Padar island sunrise hike, an awe-inspiring view of thousands of bats flying into the sunset, an island with shallows full of baby sharks, and of course the Komodo island itself where we got to spot three dragons! What an adventure. From the well appointed cabins on the beautiful ship, to the calm breeze while sipping on coffee with sea views, to the delicious local meals shared among guests, to the helpful and fun crew… our trip was full of memorable moments and jaw-dropping experiences. We highly recommend this tour, and this company, to anybody visiting Labuan Bajo and the Komodo islands!

  Great hospitality and proffesionalism of the crew. Very good food, the guide knew perfectly well where to find manta, turtles etc which made the numerous snorkling stops great fun and made the visits worthwhile. The ship alfathran is very comfortable and spacious with many places to chil in the shade on the two decks

  A superb cruise on a beautiful boat. 1- a magnificent setting. 2- the team was very professional. 3- plentiful and varied cuisine. The pace was very fast and an extra day on board would have been even better. The only downside was the noise of the generator at night.
