  Amazing tour—our guide Charlie truly made history come alive with the way he told the stories. It was so interesting to see Ybor City showcased in a way that highlights its incredible history. I live in Tampa, and this was my second time taking the tour, which says a lot. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone—whether you’re a local or just visiting.

  We enjoyed learning about historic Ybor City. Max was very knowledgeable and had an entertaining style of delivering. There is not a lot of walking, as everything is in a small area. We’ve recommended the tour to friends who are interested in Florida history

  This fella was incredible! We had 5 tours on this trip to Florida and absolutely this guy was the best of all the tours we took. He knew his facts, he shared he answered our questions, kept us on pace without rushing us. Professional in all ways. Highest recommendations!

  In 45 minutes we had walked no more than 20 yards and then stood in an empty car park. All the guide Charlie spoke on was cigars, it was terrible and such an interesting place. Do not book

  Charlie was an entertaining and informative host. The tour itself was quite interesting and really emphasized the unique history of Ybor City. Charlie answered a lot of questions as only one with a long personal history with the city could. Who knew that one could stand in Cuba without ever leaving Florida? The tour was not too strenuous for the less active members of the group, and the pace was unhurried without being too slow. The price of the tour was definitely worth it for my family.

  Guide Steve was very knowledgeable and interesting. There just wasn't much to see. It was also hot for the 2pm walk. I developed a headache and my friend was nauseous after the tour. The area was like a ghost town. Nothing open. No place to purchase a drink to help the headache. This was not our guides fault, just how our bodies responded to the afternoon walk. I would recommend an ealier time slot if possible, it was not possible for our group. We did learn lots about the area and I am glad that we went. Just be sure to wear large hats and take cold drinks with you. Perhaps one of the stops could have a small cooler in place containing cold drinks for purchase. That would have made a big difference

  The tour was most informative and very interesting,. But the tour guide made it all come alive. He was terrific!!
