5.00I really learned so much history from Stephen. He was very knowledgeable and engaging to be with. It's great to see a place and really understand how it came about, impacting both our history and that of Cuba among other countries. I recommend doing this like I did, on a weekday when it was so peaceful in Ybor city.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Charlie was interesting, well informed and gave a fact filled history of the growth of Ybor City. He had a nice manner and 2 hours whizzed by. Definitely recommended.

5.00Max is a wealth of knowledge and a showman to boot. His tour brings history to life and we learned sooo much from this 1.5 hour walking tour. Definitely worth the money to see the architecture and learn the history behind this historic place.

5.00Learning the birth of Ybor City, the cigar industry, and the lives of the immigrants who powered both was fascinating! The time spent walking, and the pace, was very relaxed. Max is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and he always spoke loud enough for everyone in the group to hear him. This is on the top of our list for friends and family when they visit in the future!

5.00I had been to Ybor several times, but visiting it with Charlie was a fantastic experience. He gave such great explanations and so much historical background, that now I feel I really appreciate the area! Heartily recommend the tour, for visitors and Tampa residents!
What this country needs is a really good five-cent cigar city tour.

5.00Max was an excellent guide/presenter/historian/entertainer. His voice was loud enough to be heard, except when the trolleys passed and then he paused. We learned so much about Ybor City and early Tampa, the birth of the cigar industry in the US, and the immigrants who made it all happen. It was fascinating and delightful from beginning to end. And who knew there would be a free trip to Cuba at the end? We will take other visitors again and I highly recommend this tour for locals and Tampa visitors alike. You will not be disappointed.
