5.00Great tour! Would highly recommend. Simon was knowledgeable, friendly, and a thoroughly enjoyable guide. The day was well planned out and operated so smoothly! We enjoyed every part of it - from meeting Don Pedro, to getting to know a real family sheep farm, a hefty lunch in a gorgeous spot and wine tasting. It is well worth the price!

5.00Best part of this tour was meeting with James and his two children Alice and William. James owns the farm and his knowledge of the industry is quite impressive. He is patient takes time to speak with visitors explains different wool types and market. There are 3,000 sheep on the farm and the landscape is spectacular. Highly highly recommended

5.00The Real New Zealand Farm Tour was one of the highlights of our time near Christchurch. Visiting a family-owned sheep farm gave us such an authentic look at rural New Zealand life — from the animals to the land to the stories passed down through generations. It felt personal, welcoming, and genuinely special, not touristy at all. We enjoyed a wonderful, catered lunch overlooking the farm. The tour was perfectly balanced with a visit to a local winery, where we enjoyed excellent wines in a beautiful setting — a wonderful way to round out the day. Our guide and driver, Simon, truly made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable, shared fascinating insights about farming, history, and the region, and kept us laughing the entire time. His humor, warmth, and passion for New Zealand made the day both informative and so much fun. If you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic, and memorable experience that showcases the heart of New Zealand, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. An absolute must-do!

5.00Everything went well. Simon was great driver and guide. The visit to a mini horse was nice, the visit to the sheep farm was great. James, was excellent, in explaining on sheep farming and showing the farm. Lunch provide was good. The visit to the winery was great. Sample tasted 5 different wines. Kid had ice cream and there were some board games for kids.

5.00Everything went well. Simon was a great driver / guide. James at the sheep farm was excellent in showing the sheep sheering and explaining about the farm… the visit to the winery was also good with 5 different wine tasting … for those with young kids (who can’t drink wine) there were also some board games that kids were happy to play

5.00This was such a fun day for us. Simon our driver was a wealth of knowledge on the areas we drove through as we made our way to the sheep farm. It helped the time to pass quickly and gave us some insight into the history of Christchurch and it's surrounding suburbs. The farmer James shared his passion for sheep and farming. And the views from the farm we amazing, I could have stayed there for hours just enjoying the peaceful nature of the area. The meal provided was great and more than we expected. We then headed to the winery and were warmly greeted by all that worked there. It was the perfect way to cap off our day.
