Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pregnant travelers may join if they are under 24 weeks pregnant by the end of the trip.

You must contact the tour operator at least 3 days prior to the departure date to provide the pick-up location. If no information is received by the deadline, the default pick-up location and time will be automatically assigned: 8:00am at Shakespeare Theatre Washington D.C. -610 F Street NW, Washington D.C.
Children under 6 may require a booster seat by law. When traveling on the minivans or vans, booster seats may be needed. Please contact the tour operator in advance if needed. Rental service is also available upon request.
For a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we recommend bringing comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, cash, and drinks for hydration.
Tickets and Admission Policy: Third-party attraction tickets or city passes are not accepted for participation in the tour. All admission tickets must be purchased either during booking or directly from your tour guide on the day of the tour.
For safety and communication purposes during the trip, a valid and reachable phone number is required for participants.
Approximately tour duration is about 10 hours; Total tour duration and Returning time may vary depends on actual itinerary, weather and traffic of the day.
Relaxing Trail Walk (45 mins round trip): Enjoy an easy walk on a serene mountain trail, immersing yourself in the park’s natural beauty. If extreme weather occurs, the trail walk will be canceled, and alternative stops will be arranged to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Overlooks with Stunning Views: Along the winding mountain roads, we will stop at designated overlooks to take in the awe-inspiring views of the Shenandoah Valley. These stops provide perfect opportunities for photos and relaxation.
One-Way Scenic Tour (120 mins):Due to the Skyline Drive located across Shenandoah National Park, we enter from Thornton Gap and drive to north exit. On the winding driveway on the mountains, we will stop at the overlooks to observe the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

5.00I had a wonderful experience on this tour! Johnny, our guide, was fantastic — friendly, punctual, funny, and very knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting stories about Virginia’s history and the early presidents, which made the drive from DC to Shenandoah both fun and educational. The short hike in Shenandoah Valley, part of the Appalachian Trail, was scenic and suitable for all fitness levels. As someone who loves hiking, I personally would’ve enjoyed a slightly longer trail, but it was still a great balance for a day trip. The Luray Caverns were absolutely amazing! We arrived at a great time, before it got crowded in the afternoon, and I felt I had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the site. Overall, the tour was very well organized, relaxing, and full of beautiful sights. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Virginia’s natural beauty and history in one day!

3.00This is an interesting tour. We sat mostly in silence the whole way to the park. Music that was playing sounded like funeral music. On my last small group van tour the guide had everyone introduce themselves and he kept us entertained as he drove, so maybe my expectations were a little high. Once we got to the park the guide started to talk and tell us about the area. There were enough stops to see lots of fall foliage and he answered any questions we had about the area. There is some hiking involved on this tour. At the Luray Caverns area, it was very crowded with lines for the bathroom were out the door. The guide did a good job at getting our tickets to us as we had lunch and letting us know what time we had to be done touring the cave. On trip home, most everyone fell asleep. It was an enjoyable tour and a good way to enjoy some fall foliage.

5.00I had an amazing time visiting Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive. The scenery along Skyline Drive was absolutely stunning, and the rock formations in Luray Caverns were fascinating. Our guide, Johnny, was both funny and humble, making the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

5.00Great trip to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah NP. Very helpful and interactive tour guide, Alper. We were stopped at multiple overlooks and a short hike along the Skyline Drive of the National Park. Also, we were provided enough time for the cave visit. The trip was worth the cost. Highly recommended for a quick day trip.
