St. Thomas
Main Street - over 400 stores to choose from. The Emancipation Garden - dedicated to the abolition of slavery in 1848, this is our liberty began. You can relax on one of the benches if you’re all shopped out. Blackbeard’s Castle – if you’re the adventurous type, take a hike to the Castle that was built in 1679. The 99 Steps – A little bit more than 99 steps! As you begin the climb you will notice the bricks that were brought over from Denmark to actually build this walkway to and from the Castle. The Jewish Synagogue – This is one the oldest churches in the United States and is located right here in Charlotte Amalie. It’s interesting that the floors of the Synagogue are covered with sand. You see, in order for the Jews to worship, they had to do it in silence….

Join us on the observation deck of the island's highest elevation. Enjoy St. Thomas's Atlantic side of the island as U.S and British Virgin Islands meet. Try the world's famous Banana Daiquiri; shop for souvenirs, t-shirts, beachwear, and jewelry. Photo ops and restroom facilities.

5.00This was a well-rounded tour. Equal time spent shopping and sightseeing. Our ship was running behind (no fault of our own), but Brenda and Franko still accommodated us and made sure we got the full experience without affecting the other 4 people on the tour. Greatly appreciate that! The air conditioned van and options for alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks along the tour were a nice touch and Franko, our driver, was very kind and knowledgeable about St Thomas, and the surrounding islands. If you’re looking for a less intense, no beachwear involved day to see and experience the island with genuinely nice locals, this tour is it.

5.00Franko was very knowledgeable about the island. He took us all over after letting us shop and go to the Fort first. He was very considerate and even tried to return my bag of souvenirs when he found them in the van. Unfortunately it was too close to sail time and I was not allowed to leave the ship. I would definitely take his tour again, although I would take it in the morning so that we would have plenty of time

5.00Franko was an excellent tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the island of St. Thomas and he relayed that information in an interesting and sometimes funny way. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

4.00Blackbeard's castle was closed for work. Ecko was a great guide and a lot of fun, though there were some difficulties with the speaker in the bed of the truck, so we did not get to hear some of the information. The itinerary he was given did not include the Synagogue, so we missed it (partly our fault for not asking him, it was very near our final drop off, and no one asked until we were getting back on to go back to the ship).
Great tour. Well worth the money.

1.00Driver cancelled half hour before pickup. We were left standing on the curb and had to seek out alternative transportation. I want my money back. Please advise.

5.00Great tour, Brenda gave us a lot of island history and facts about St Thomas. Enjoyable air condition ride, with awesome views. Mountain Top has spectacular views and the Banana Daiquiris were delicious. We highly recommend this tour as a must do.
