Al-Muizz li-Din Allah al-Fatimi Street (Arabic: شارع المعز لدين الله الفاطمي), or al-Muizz Street for short, is a major north-to-south street in the walled city of historic Cairo, Egypt. It is one of Cairo's oldest streets as it dates back to the foundation of the city (not counting the earlier Fustat) by the Fatimid dynasty in the 10th century, under their fourth caliph, Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah (after whom the street is named).[1] Historically, it was the most important artery of the city and was often referred to as the Qasaba (or Qasabah). It constituted the main axis of the city's economic zones where its souqs (markets) were concentrated.[1] The street's prestige also attracted the construction of many monumental religious and charitable buildings commissioned by Egypt's rulers and elites, making it a dense repository of historic Islamic architecture in Cairo.[2][1] This is especially evident in the Bayn al-Qasrayn area

5.00Wehad was the best guide for our trip to the downtown Cairo market! She really know the area, the culture, and especially the history of the area! The transportation with driver Said was on time and comfortable! I would definitely recommend this tour with Wehad! We had a memorable and pleasant time!

5.00Shahd is an expert Egyptologist who graduated from the university with a degree in Egyptology. I highly recommend her to be your guide since she shares her wealth of information. She made a trip so enjoyable today I loved going to the different vendors in the bazaar and got some amazing deals with her help. We even went to visit a spot where we looked at an arch that was from the 11th century and had a tea there very lovely.

5.00I had an amazing Egyptian shopping tour , and it was one of the highlights of my trip. Visiting khan El Khalili was like stepping into a different world full of history,colors and vibrant energy We explored papyrus store , perfume shop , cotton and traditional spices shop each offering something special the quality of the product was impressive and it was interesting learn about how papyrus is made and how perfumes are blended using traditional techniques It's very recommended we loved this alot
