5.00I recently visited Bahrain and I must say that it was one of the most beautiful surprises, often overshadowed by the most famous neighbors, but it offers a perfect mix of millennial history, modernity and an out of the ordinary welcome. The real added value of the trip was undoubtedly our guide, Hesham. It is not often that you meet a person so prepared, passionate and attentive to every detail. Thanks to his deep knowledge of the local culture, we didn’t just “see” monuments, but lived the history of the country: competence, empathy and flexibility. He was able to adapt the rhythm of the day to our curiosity, answering every question with extreme courtesy and an ever-present smile. Thanks to the perfect organization, we were able to admire the excavation of the first oil well, the tree of life, more than a hundred years old in the Arabian desert, the majesty of the Al Fateh Grand Mosque, visit the Asian camels, those with a single hump, lose ourselves in the scents of the Souq Al Bahrain and be enchanted in front of the Qal'at al-Bahrain (the Bahrain Fort) at sunset, and the visit for fans of the Formula 1 circuit, without forgetting that for each bus route there was no boredom between coffee, dates, fresh water and snacks, offered by them, along with healthy sarcasm. If you are looking for a destination that combines the elegance of the Gulf with the depth of Arab history, Bahrain is the place to be. But to capture its true essence, rely on professionals, they will turn a simple holiday into a deep personal enrichment.
