Our coastal cruise is perfect for those who really want to relax and get away from normal life.
The coast around Khao Lak is made up of misty mountains, lush jungles, small islands, rocks and reefs. This is a fantastic place to see birds and often fish jumping from the water.
We start off with a look around the Royal Navy Turtle Conservation Center. This turtle nursery was set up by the royal family to help boost the turtle population around Khao Lak, The Similan and Surin Islands. Our next stop is our pier in the local village. From here we cruise through the stunning, tropical scenery before heading to a long and beautiful beach. There is plenty of time to relax on the beach with some lunch and fresh fruit before returning to your hotel.

5.00This coastal cruise is a "have to do". Magnificent mangrove forests along the beaches. Very appetizing lunch and an almost empty dreamlike beach are just wonderful. An attentive guide could also tell a lot about the Turtle Help Center. The trip can only recommend.

5.00A fabulous day. Kiwi, our guide, was just awesome - so knowledgable and friendly. A great day out for all to enjoy. Wonderful local curry for lunch on the beach.

5.00We had a fantastic day meandering the tributaries in a long tail boat checking out all the wildlife especially the local monkey troop. Lunch on a secluded beach was fantastic with a hour of swimming. Then back down the tributaries to the dock. Next a trip to the turtle sanctuary where it was fantastic to see the hard work and dedication the team of scientists have done to turtle conservation. From planning to pick up was a 5 star trip. May congratulate our guide Aoom on the care she gave us and her knowledge.

5.00We were in Thailand for 2 weeks and decided on only one excursion....and did we get lucky choosing this company! First class all the way; super responsive and friendly and well- run. We booked an afternoon tour with a boat with a total of 6 tourists. We ended up being only the 2 of us—they could have rescheduled us, but instead treated us to a private tour. Our guide, Air, was the loveliest, charming, welcoming and most delightful guide we could have hoped for. Everything was perfect, from our pick-up at the hotel, to the long-boat ride, an amazing lunch on beach, and an unforgettable swim in the ocean. We even got lucky and met the owner, Sam who came over to say hello. We highly recommend this company and the team. It was a highlight of our wonderful holiday in Khao Lak.

5.00Our tour guide, Garfield was excellent. Very friendly, good humoured and knowledgeable which is everything you hop for. 10/10 for Garforld and Co. Our trip was booked to be private and that's exactly tly what we got. Just us on a traditional long tail boat which was piloted by two local gents who drove at a perfect pace. They helped point out wildlife and Garfoeld told us what we could see. We saw monkeys, a condor a white tipped Eagle lizards, hermit crabs and most importantly at the end of our tour the turtles at the navy sanctuary. The lunch provided was authentic Thai and was lovely. We couldn't eat it all. The private beach was all ours. We were the only people who left footsteps in the sand. Be warned come in September and be prepared to be shocked by the amount of human plastic and glass that is washed up the beach into the jungle. Its a real shame what we have done as a species to this most beautiful of sights. Apart from the detritus on the beach everything on this tour was lovely. The turtle sanctuary is doing great work but one could only hope to see improvements at this site for the benefit of these amazing animals. It seems a bit tired and the turtles have little to do in their enclosures other than swim in circles. A few rocks and seaweed would help make their new lives more natural. Anyway if you're looking for a good tour company use this one. Remember to take a few extra baht with you for tips eg 100 per person in our case 2x boatman, 1 x guide 1x taxi driver. You get the point a few quid from us makes a big difference to these people and males for a better world in general.
Great Tour with a Great Guide

5.00Great tour. Hotel pickup nice and easy 9:15am start. Our tour guide Garfield was extremely friendly and informative on the drive to the dock, explaining the importance of 13 July for Buddhism in Thailand (amongst many other subjects). The shoreline tour took us around the bay and lasted about 1 hour. Whilst we didn’t see any monkeys catching mud crabs this time, we saw plenty of sea eagles catching their breakfast. The secluded beach was an excellent place to stretch our legs and have a beautiful Thai meal. The return trip allowed us to see local fishermen out with their nets catching fresh fish. The crew of the boat produced a welcome surprise shortly before disembarking- in the form of an ice cold wet towel each (much appreciated in the heat & humidity). The next part of the tour involved a trip to the turtle sanctuary- again Garfield was extremely knowledgeable about the techniques applied in locating and harvesting the turtle eggs, the process used to ensure both male and female turtles are born and raising the turtles before release. This tour was a fantastic day out and if you are in Khao Lak I’d advise you to give it a go. The tour was really enjoyable and educational (for me at least). Garfield is an excellent tour guide, after a day with him - you would have learned something new.

5.00Relaxed day, on a paradise beach south of Khao Lak, very good food. Quiet and practically lonely place. Crystal clear waters and crisp sand like powdered snow. Visit to the turtle conservation center. The guide Oscar, super friendly and attentive. We loved it.
