In just two hours, you’ll get an introduction to many of the most important sights as well as some of Copenhagen’s picture perfect hidden pearls, from medieval streets and royal landmarks to colorful Nyhavn and secret courtyards known mainly to locals.

After the guided walk has officially ended, those who wish are warmly invited to join the host at a nearby cozy café, where there is extra time to unwind and receive personal tips, recommendations, and local insights.

Nyboder – Copenhagen’s historic naval quarter and hidden gem Step into the story of Nyboder, one of Copenhagen’s most distinctive neighborhoods, founded in 1631 by King Christian IV to house Denmark’s naval families. As part of our Copenhagen walking tour, we stop by the small Nyboder Memorial Rooms, a true hidden gem in Copenhagen, where you can peek through the windows and glimpse scenes from centuries past. Inside, the preserved museum spaces reveal the everyday lives of sailors and their families, with original artifacts, uniforms, and maritime relics that tell the story of Denmark’s proud naval heritage. 5.00We had a wonderful walking tour through the old town of Copenhagen with our guide Isabella. She showed us beautiful churches, castles, the King’s Garden, colorful old buildings, and so much more. We especially loved that she took us to local and hidden spots that we never would have found on our own. Isabella was a fantastic guide — very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Copenhagen, its culture, and its history. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

5.00This tour was fabulous. Having already visited a number of the 'touristy' attractions in Copenhagen, Isabella took us further into the city, explaining the different hidden gems and the history. As we walked through the different sections of the city she described their significance and their contributions to the way of life of the residents of Copenhagen, from royalty to everyday citizens and the military. We were fortune enough to have only 2 people on our tour, so she was able respond to our questions based on the level of our prior knowledge. She explained the history and significance of various buildings that we had previously blindly walked past, and how the various kings and other notable people had helped to shape the city we see today.
