This food tour is different from our Lion City Bike Tour. SG Food & Bike Tour - Katong, will take you off the beaten tourist path, or the usual "Hawker center" food tour. Instead, to explore the island finest local delicacies district "Katong" Leisurely cycle between mouth-watering food stops. And photo ops with colorful two-stories shophouses with ornate facades, intricate motifs and ceramic tiles. During the food tour you will get to eat at least 8 different Local Authentic Delicacies. Eg: the famous Putu Piring, Katong Laksa, Bak Chang, Hainanese Chicken Rice and the World Best Curry Puff. Along the way we will share with you about Singapore food culture and development over the years. You will also learn about an unique group of people known as “Peranakan” – a dominant local group in Katong. Toward the end, we will ride along our beautiful East Coast Beach, before heading back. SG Food & Bike Tour - Katong will let you eat like a local in “The Shiok Ways”.

This was the best bike tour in Singapore! It is off the beaten path and away from the main city and tourist areas. We tried so many delicious foods that was so new to us! Alvin was so informative about the food, culture and history. I learned so much. It's fascinating and tasty! I highly recommend this tour to everyone that visits this magnificent city!

My wife and I had a wonderful tour with Alvin. Plenty of delicious food, especially if you love both sweet snacks and seafood/fish. It can be warm as the day progresses, so water and sunscreen is a must! Alvin was a great tour guide, with a deep knowledge of the area. Thank you, Alvin!

Excellent way to spend four hours and see a lot of Singapore you would normally never see and try a lot of food you may never try. Alvin was a great guide and explained a lot of the local history and food.

It was my first trip abroad by myself and I wanted to make some memories. Our guide, Alvin, was very friendly, and he was very open to talking and taking photos with other tour participants, and we had a great time. Also, it takes courage to eat Singapore's local food when you are quite alone, and all the restaurants that showed me on this tour were delicious and filling. Thank you very much. If I have the opportunity, I would like to participate with my family.

Really pleasant ride with delicious food stops and incredible cultural stops Alvin, my wonderful and kind guide was raised in the area and shared so much background and local history . One of my favorite days in Singapore .

I had high expectations for this tour, based on reviews and price, and was not disappointed. It was just great biking around these interesting areas, stopping for delicious bites here and there (actually more food than you can eat). Alvin was our guide, he was born in the neighbourhood and had lots to tell. This kind of experience is impossible to do on your own, thanks for having us!

Had a great time with Holden on this food and bike tour, lots of stops with plenty of food with snacks and mini meals ensuring you’ve had more than enough by the end! He was a great guide who talked us through history of Singapore and the areas as well as the food being served. Various types of spices, savoury, sweet, etc, from different cuisines to try. Would thoroughly recommend if you fancy a food tour away from the others tours available in Chinatown for something a little different.
