The tour to the turquoise lagoon of Singrenacocha is very special, as very few places in the world offer this natural attraction. On the trip you will get to know the Andes of Peru, and its picturesque villages where organic agriculture is still practised and many rites such as the offering to their sacred mountains. You can also visit a textile production centre where women weave their garments with fine alpaca and llama yarns.

Reference schedules: 06:00 - Hotel pick-up in Cusco Start of the day with punctual pick up at the hotel. A day before, VIPAC will provide recommendations on clothing, sunscreen, hat and appropriate footwear, as well as delivering the Box Lunch. 06:30 - Departure to Cuyuni Viewpoint Enjoy a breathtaking view of Ausangate. There will be a brief stop for bathing. 08:00 - Departure to Yanamarca Arrival at Yanamarca community for visitor registration and payment of entrance fees. Basic toilets and local snacks are available. 09:30 - Exploration of Singrenacocha Lagoon Start the hike at 4,525 m.a.s.l., passing through a forest of stones. Arrival at the base of the lagoon (4,381 m.a.s.l.), with the Colque Cruz glacier in the background. 11:30 - Transfer to the interpretation centre in Yanamarca. The vehicle will pick up the passengers to avoid the uphill hike. 12:00 - Box Lunch in Yanamarca Visit to the interpretation centre to learn about native potatoes and medicinal herbs. Lunch served in a comfortable area. 13:00 - Return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Return by the paved Interoceanic road, with only 7 km of dirt road.

5.00I recommend this tour the surreal, wonderful landscapes, we did the tour that includes hiking the guide David was attentive all the time, he was very kind to me as I could not have breakfast he gave me bread, also at the end I had a little discomfort and was ready with florid water to cheer me up, the vehicle seats were very comfortable we took a nap on the return, the lunch included was delicious I tried breaded chicken with quinoa also served as an entrance soup quinoa and to finish a rich dessert, the experience is unforgettable the photographs are a valuable memory of this majestic place, David indicated us the places with better angles for our photographs, we took photos of couple and individual magazine cover! Peru is beautiful for sure we will be back soon 😁

5.00It's just wonderful. If you want something quiet to walk, this option is great because although if you walk, it is not more than 3 km maximum so it is much better than the Laguna de humantay 100% recommended

5.00Another wonderful day with Vipac. The guide David made us understand the importance of preservation and to appreciate the beautiful without destroying. Complete connection with nature and spirit. We had contact with the local people and it was beautiful. The lagoon is incredible!

5.00Singrenacocha is a terrific day tour and the tour was very well organised. It's a very beautiful place about 3 hours from Cusco and involves a fairly easy walk, despite the 4500 metre altitude of about 4 kms to the lookout. The blue glacial lake leads up to high snow-covered mountains. All around are lots of alpacas and llamas. There were 3 of us plus our excellent guide and it seemed ridiculous, given the natural beauty, to us that we had whole site to ourselves. On the way back to Cusco an excellent meal was included at a community centre in Cuyuni using local produce.

5.00The Sigrenacocha lagoon is definitely worth it! While it is 3 hs journey from Cusco, the experience is super enjoyable and the end amazing. The silence of the place, the turquoise water and the friendliness of the VIPAC staff, in space of David Alba, make the whole journey very pleasant. Thanks for that!
